There was a flicker of panic in her eyes. "Get the hell out of here!" he roared, his face twisted in anger. Noah slammed the door shut behind her, her heart racing, she stood rooted to the floor. Her mind distraught with the revelation of Damien's infidelity- he didn't even respect the sanctity of their marriage, what little there was to it. The thought of some sort of respect, some kind of boundary that wouldn't be crossed was shattered. The last time I felt this way was in highschool but I'll die before I let anyone know and ever since then I've not had such feeling. I chuckled a little as I remembered her laugh, it was so contagious, it's the kind of laugh you'll want to get back home to hear and this feeling is scaring the shit out of me. I stopped in my tracks, and stared at the covered stage, hoping to see a person on it. The curtains still covered the entirety of the elevated platform, but I could hear silent footsteps behind it. Then, a gentle strum of an electric guitar echoed in the hall. “What…?” I quietly gasped. That was so clean! I could feel goosebumps from every part of my body, and I stood stone in my position, overwhelmed. A gentle chord after chord followed in pursuit, and as I listened closely, it felt like I could discern the emotions behind the played music. Grief, loneliness… anger.

She loved babies but never in her life had she ever dreamt of being in the state of cara , pregnant and growing pups who had no heart beats inside her belly . A small tear dropped from the sleeping Cara's eye , she was regretting the small choice she did to one and her only person who cared for her the most , " her mother !!" She was ready to sacrifice her pride and even beg and wash her feet if it's needed to make sure she one day can be able to get a heartbeat from her babies .

Four Years Ago Noah's POV: Hearing the bell going off, I stood up from my chair as my back made a cracking sound. I did not even realize for how long I was sitting in front of my desktop. As I checked who it was, it turned out to be Eva, my girlfriend of five years.
