His rescuer was huge, twice his size as she gripped the grey wolf in her massive jaws, crushing his skull, with a savage growl of victory. Galen did what he had to. Twisting Nora beneath him, he crushed her muzzle, before ripping her throat out. She died silently, without so much as a whimper. Limping, Galen stood up, surveying the carnage before him and acknowledging the huge wolf who'd saved him. The Alpha, it had to be her. . . . . . She turned, howling as she disappeared between the trees. And then he heard Rachel, screaming his name. Furiously, the golden wolf snarled and ran towards the asylum.

“They’ll come for you, Lily. You can’t outrun them forever,” I peered out of the window, studying the Rogues chasing after me. A chill ran down my spine as it dawned on me the real identity of these rogue wolves. They weren’t random rogues out for an easy meal – they had small cuts on the left side of their ears… they were known as “The Crawler”.

As Jenna and Logan celebrated their victory, they suddenly heard a loud roar coming from the forest. They looked up and saw a huge, black wolf standing at the edge of the clearing. Before Ragnar could react, Wulfrick lunged. They collided with brutal force, rolling across the ground, snapping and striking in a violent blur. Firelight flashed across claws and teeth as the other wolves closed in, cutting off Ragnar’s escape.
