BRAHAM’S POV The master bedroom was a testament to Raphael Harvey’s cowardice and Sabrina’s ego. The walls had been repainted a soft, sickly cream, and the heavy velvet curtains that June had loved according to the little Millie could remember were gone, replaced by light, airy silks.

Past where the manor should have ended. But it didn’t. The stairwell continued. I counted the steps. Sixty-two. Seventy. Ninety-eight. And then— The passage opened into a long, candlelit corridor. My breath caught. The wallpaper was crimson velvet, stitched with golden threads. There were no windows, yet everything shimmered as if moonlight poured in from above. I walked slowly, heart pounding with each step. At the end of the hallway stood a black door, carved with the image of a woman in a veil, surrounded by wolves. Her eyes were hollow.

The first room we met was the living room and she led me into it. The chairs were cream with orange throw pillows scattered on them, and the interior was covered in Emma Pastel wallpaper. Plants gave life to the house and the floor was laminated, there was a thin rug under a wooden coffee table that was in front of the main chair. I couldn’t find a single picture except for posters of a young stunning woman with medium-length black hair, flaunting her sexiness along with heavy amounts of jewelry as she made different poses. Then I saw similar titles on the posters, ‘Milionis.’

I forced myself to look away and take in my surroundings instead. The room was massive, much larger than I expected. The walls were painted a deep charcoal gray, giving the space a dark, intimidating feel. The ceiling was high, with a black chandelier hanging in the center, its crystals catching the dim morning light. The furniture was all sleek and expensive-looking, mostly black with silver accents. To my right, there was a large fireplace, unlit, with an intricately carved stone mantel. Above it hung a massive portrait of a wolf—its eyes a striking silver, just like Alpha Ronan’s. It looked almost alive, its gaze intense and watchful.

The wall was painted with color black from both sides and white from the other sides. Haha like a domino..? All of her decorations were red. The cover of her lamp table, her pillows, her blanket, the cabinet, and of course same as the floor. What captured my eyes the most was the things that hang above the ceiling. It was a different type of dead animals dried up and put artistically. "What a unique and weird room to be", I mumbled. " come here", she said. The girl was now lying on the bed naked. " fuck what is this?", I mumbled trying to keep calm because right now my under part was so hard.

Opening it, I started to shake my head. ‘Fuck us. They did a damn good job. I could stay in here forever. Forget werewolf, we can become vampires. Creatures of the night.’ I chuckled. ‘We are creatures of the night, Raine. That doesn’t change, we just don’t suck blood.’ She was right though. The bathroom also looked like it belonged in my castle. It was bigger than the walk in closet and a large part of where the second bedroom on this side of the apartment was eaten up by. With the same black paneling on the walls with the molding around, it was dark but the grey wood lightened up darkness. Celeste was not big on formalities, but knew that with people watching, Anna would have to insist on the formal interactions between Omega and Alpha. Just like all the offices on the second floor, the furniture and built-ins were made from cherry wood. The walls in all four rooms of the Luna’s office suite were pale blue. The trim and accents in Anna’s office were crimson red that matched the pack colors. When Celeste had told her assistant that the office could be in her own colors, Anna explained that her wolf was a crimson red.

Looking at the sun blooming slowly while scattering its rays all over, it feels as if the darkness has surrendered itself to it and the horror of the previous night has been relieved bare for all to witness. Blake slowly moves his eyes across the hall. The blood is seen being splattered all over the wooden floor. The white walls, the original white couch, everything has been dyed in red and dried a long time ago. In some areas, the original color of the carpet can’t be seen at all. It is all in bloody red. Pieces of wolves being torn to shreds, bodies of what seem to be human as well as non-human and pieces of what used to be the door, all has been scattered all over the house.
