Ragna Crimson Wallpaper Novels & Stories

Large, comfortable-looking pillows in reds, blacks, grays, and whites were propped against each other along the window seat. A red chandelier hung from the center of the vaulted ceiling. The walls were a deep shade of red and pinstriped black. The curtains were billowy and white, as was the carpet and my bedding. Distressed black furniture and a white couch with thick black stripes complimented the room. It was lovely. The nightgown I wore was white. Three pearl-shaped buttons held the gown closed at my neck. Next to one of the buttons was a drop of Dorian's blood, perfectly round and red like the walls.

Some I know from my own pack, but most I'm not 100% familiar with. Mine and Nadia's group are staying in the Crimson Wing, which is all burgundy and red color themed., which becomes obviously apparent as we walk into the main area of the wing. All dark wood, black walls with wine-coloured accents, couches and an all-black kitchen including a black granite counter-top. As Nadia and I walk in, I notice 6 other wolves sitting around the main living area, mingling, and chatting until eyes are laid on me and it goes quiet. I get bows and nods of acknowledgement and respect

I followed her gaze as I walked until we got through a door at the far end the room. The door led into a long, dim corridor that was littered with large oil paintings which hung from either side of the walls. Most of the painting depicted pale faces in black collars. Faces I had no idea of. Jhan took me through a door on the left. We entered into a small office. The first thing I noticed about the room was the chandelier that hung very low, almost at mid distance from room to floor. The office smelt of old books and dust, though it was spotlessly clean, and, seated behind a wooden desk was, surprisingly, an old pale vampire.

But besides myself, the room was empty – or at least there was no other human or werewolf around. I didn’t recognize this room! The room was drenched in red and gold-themed colors, but rather than being luxurious and refined, it just felt--- suffocating! There was stuff everywhere in an overwhelming display of wealth. Heavy crimson drapes framed the towering windows, their gold embroidered patterns shimmering in the light. The walls were lined with huge, gilded mirrors, detailed sconce light fixtures, and elaborate paintings – each of the ornaments seemed to be fighting for space. All of them seemed to be crammed in without thought or taste...

She sounded way too eager to care why her son was in my room when I was only half naked. “Good news. Bonnie and I were shopping for our pre-Halloween dinner outfits and we came across the loveliest wallpaper that will go so well with your room Crystal.” The three ladies squealed in excitement while Blake and I winced, already feeling sorry for our ears. “Oh my God. Is my bedroom getting a makeover?” Crystal asked despite the fact that she already knew the answer to that. For goodness’ sake, it was Stella that came across the wallpaper and she thought it looked great. There was no way she was letting that go now that she knew of its existence.

Though, I wasn’t sure if I should feel more worried by that, or relieved for once that I did not have his attention. The Lord’s castle was enough of a strain on my thoughts as it was. The entire place looked as if it were dripped in blood. The floral wallpaper on the walls gleamed a dark shade of maroon, with leaflets of gold here and there. The floor was a black obsidian, but even it had been lined with red rugs. Above our heads, cardinal curtains hung from the walls, draping onto the cool stone floor. She lifted her head and opened her eyes. God, who the heck had lived here? The wallpaper was awful. Black and silver interlocking circles, supposed to be modern, just looked crap. It certainly wasn't a house paper, more like a nineties night club; she could see that someone had once painted the walls black as well. Crickey, it must have looked like a cave. The wall behind her was painted a pale mauve colour, like mouldy Parma violet sweets.

Kira looked around the big designated room she was taken to, a sharp scent of lavender overpowered her senses, putting a small smile on her face which immediately left as she looked around the room. It looked girly and she hated anything girly. Although it was beautiful. The walls were covered in brown, flowery wallpaper, containing beautiful painted portraits that were hung. Some of it was a white big wolf, some were her pictures, and some were just random. It was obvious it happened to be a talent of the princess.

This wasn't the surprise I had in mind. The wallpaper was matte black with embossed fleur-de-lis, and a massive, wooden, crimson 'X' with black leather padding leaning against the far wall grabbed my attention. My gaze wandered over the lavish furniture with metallic hardware and leather upholstery. Two types of whips in various shades of red and black hung on the pegs of custom-made, mahogany shelving units along with various types of paddles, bars, restraints, and more. There were soft-bundled, black, nylon ropes hung on the far wall, framing a classical art piece of two lovers, ready to tie someone up with.

She felt proud of what she did for once, she did something good. The paint is same as the one outside excluding the shadow grey which would've made it look too manly and less homey. Inside is painted alabaster and corn. The corn wasn't painted but it's one those unique wallpapers that define royalty. Even the wallpapers are enclosed in square shaped p.o.p around it, one of them have a daisy clock that has the shape of a rose. The other two are empty of anything but it still manage to look stylish to her eyes. Just the way they shone in the light and how they brighten up the room is soothing to tensed muscles.
