CHAPTER 62 — City of Ashes The light from Luca’s body burnt like a star collapsing. The storm above the city wasn’t just rain and thunder anymore—it was an inferno unleashed, lightning jagged and snapping like whips, scorching the streets below. I staggered backward, shielding my eyes from the brilliance.
