Yep. You see, Eleanor is a big fan of books. She's the type to ditch parties and social gatherings just to continue reading favorite novel. And when you're reading a good book, you need a good place to match the mood. Their school isn't that big so she found this place and immediately marked it as her territory, well not really as hers because the place is still the government's property. Yuan on the other hand ditched his class that time and is currently running away from his teacher when he saw the way to the garden.

Then, the lights suddenly turns on. "Wow!" She awed with a smile as she looks around. "Beautiful" she said. "It's just like a fairy tale paradise!" It's shining and sparkling everywhere... cool country music plays in the background. "Eleanor!" She hears her name and turn. She sees Micah kneeling, holding out a box... He opens it and there's a ring.

Every little thing about her is mine and mine only. "El!" I heard little kids' voices, shouting in unison. As I snapped out of my thoughts, I saw a group of them running towards us. And, I couldn't miss the smile on Eleanor's face as I turned sideways, seeing her crouch down for the kids and holding her arms open for them to run into it. Which they did as them and Eleanor had a big group hug. "Hi." I glanced down at my feet as a small girl gripped my pants as she greeted me in a small voice.

Adrian exclaimed, his voice filled with pure excitement. Grace covered her mouth in awe. "Oh my God, Eleanor, you did it!" Eleanor giggled, her tiny legs moving uncertainly before she tumbled into Adrian’s waiting arms. Adrian held her up proudly. "That’s my girl!" Grace wiped a happy tear from her eye. "She’s growing up so fast." Adrian nodded, his heart full. "Too fast." He kissed Eleanor’s forehead. "But no matter how big she gets, she’ll always be my little princess."

Julian's team is scattered around the perimeter—a man with a dog, pretending to read a book; a woman on a bench, her face hidden behind sunglasses; a jogger who loops the same path again and again, never tired. Nathaniel sets Eleanor on the grass. She toddles toward a group of children playing with a ball. Her steps are unsteady, her arms outstretched for balance. She falls. She gets up. She laughs. The sound drifts across the park, carried by the wind. He watches her. His face is soft, the tension gone from his jaw. For a moment, he looks like the man I fell in love with, before the mansion, before Patricia, before everything.

I gave him a pointed look. “Maybe when we’re done out west, I can go to Name to look for this lady Eleanor.” “Eleanor?” He looked at me. “Yes, her name is Eleanor.” Wendell interrupted. “Eleanor Winchester, moved to Name a few years ago and became the guardian of the book.”
