Rolling my eyes, I watched the whole scene, the giggles of the cheerleaders grew louder as they witnessed the extraordinary. Well, as they would always call it. Like a mix of swirling different colors of broken crayons---there were gaping mouths, annoying smirks, and stares full of lust with curses along their mouths. So who was the target of this ridiculous disorder? Yes, the most popular girl in our school--- the head cheerleader. The girl every boy wanted and every girl wanted to be. And girls also wanted her. "She's different when you're here. Lighter." Rowan smiled, soft and genuine. "We've been friends since high school. She's the only person who puts up with my bullshit." "She loves your bullshit." "Yeah, well." Rowan's voice went thick. "I love hers too." Elowen caught up to us, slightly out of breath from the incline. "What are you two talking about now?" "You," Rowan said. "Love," I added. Elowen blushed, that pretty pink color spreading across her cheeks. "You're both ridiculous."

If you weren’t running a company, you could’ve been an actor, and I swear 90 percent of the women in Yurelia City would lose their minds.” She had seen fangirls before. They were practically insane. Tyler placed a piece of fish on her plate and murmured, “They won’t lose their minds.”

Liana POV I turned my face away to look outside the window. Swallowing the lump of emotions down my throat, I said, “Darius, I can’t assert enough that Rowan is a demon. He is a psychopath. I was running away from him, and when I came to your pack, someone saved me and took me to Kaden’s house. I wish I knew that wolf. He would have attested my situation, my desperation.
