When the scout left, Randal turned back to Candice, his gaze unreadable. “The Ivanov Clan is finally restored,” he said. “Salem Ivanov’s bloodline stands again.” Candice nodded slowly. “That is good news.” Randal stood and approached her, his voice lowering. “There is more.” She looked up at him, confusion stirring. “What do you mean?” She swallowed hard. She knew that expression all too well—the same one her grandfather wore when she was in trouble. His brows were drawn together, his gaze serious and unyielding, and it sent a chill down her spine.

"What’s up with you? You should’ve sensed me coming a mile away. What’s got you so distracted?" Randal shifted back into his human form, getting dressed as he spoke. "Just got back from a hunt and checked the perimeter," he said casually. I scoffed, retracting my claws and fangs. Without responding, I walked over to the wooden bench in front of my cabin. Randal followed, hurriedly fixing his clothes before dropping down next to me under the shade of the pine trees. Sunlight filtered through the branches, casting streaks of gold across our tanned skin.

Everyone eyes immediately went to their left following the sound of the voice. “We Humanes can handle it alone. Please Willian, the Queen and all you hunters. Leave this place at once let’s we Humanes take care of this.” Randall said as his right arm gave off smoke with a fizzing sound while being covered by his cape then suddenly he went inflamed in his white flames and this time it became more hotter than he used to, Willian himself was surprised as he covered his face with his arms— Randall white flames shone more light even brighter than anything he had seen.

" Ivory turned to realize the source of Raiden's bewilderment. Her mother had revived her spying ways. "My name is Raiden De Ville." Raiden was courteous as always, extending his arm. "I'm Ivory's mother, Lila Remington." She took his hand. Ivory hung her head in irritation. "Come in, come in. I would love to get to know you." Lila waited for no response from either party and pulled Raiden into the apartment. Ivory couldn't help but think that this night would end in disaster. There were things about her life she didn't want people to know, much less Raiden.
