Then, I remembered the book I had gotten and I sprang to my feet to get it. It was the best way to distract myself at the moment. I picked it up and opened it to page 120, where I stopped, and was about to continue reading when I recalled what Riley told me. I turned the book to the last page, and there I found his phone number.

I looked at Kyla and then left but while I was leaving, there was this strange look that flashed in her eyes but I didn't get to see it well because it disappeared as it appeared. I was in my room, reading a new novel I found in Tyler's drawer. He had told me that Ivory loved the book so much. It was a book about the human war. Quite interesting as it contained some characters that really got me. I laid on the bed so I got carried away when I heard a knock at the door. "Come in!" I said not wanting to get distracted. I was about to read where a prince had no other option than to leave his bride and go to the war front. I love action movies.

It was Beta Angus’s book of contacts, whether they be for something legal or something a little darker and illegal. Randall smiles even more as he opens the little black book. He wasn’t originally going to use it, as he had Annalise locked in his safe room with no way of her ever leaving. Well, not without him knowing and allowing it, which he would never do, as he had no plans to share her.

They’re all waiting for me to speak. I clear my throat and start to speak, even though the memories are too fresh in my head and it’s making me a bit nervous to speak about it. “I’ve seen everything,” I say. “My Lycan Ivory is the significant other of the evil Shape Shifter Rhysand. She’s now inhabiting my body, and it seems that he knew that. He found her through me again, and that is the reason why he’s trying to get to me. He wants her back, but their love has turned sour and now he just wants to possess her for revenge. He wants to destroy everything just to get her back.”

She pointed to me, and I raised my eyebrows, wondering how I got mixed up with the whole talk. “Thing?” Henry asked, and Ivory swallowed hard. “Well, I have got no business with your nonsense. I've just made myself clear,” Henry said, and Catherine beamed; it was as if she was happy about the situation. “You mean you want to cut our relationship because of a stranger you just met?” Ivory asked. “She’s not a stranger, she’s his fucking mate, bitch” Xandra said, her gaze not raised from her phone. Alex looked so angry with the reply Xandra gave, but he just kept quiet. He stared at me for a second, and I smiled shortly.

I take in every inch of her, from the tiny scar near her brow to the way her fingers twitch, dreaming. I long to touch her, to confirm this isn’t a cruel dream. Slowly, cautiously, I push back a stray strand of her hair, a silken thread of midnight, and she immediately reacts. Her eyes flutter open, and in their depths, I see a whole history of fear and survival. IVORY’S POV

I tell Xander, and he rolls his eyes. The elevator doors open to reveal Randy in a black suit and a coat over his suit. He had forest green eyes and sleek raven-black hair which he liked combing back. Let's just say Randy was a sight to see, even I couldn't deny that but not better than me of course. He steps out with a smile. "Hunter..." He beams giving me a firm handshake. Oh, and did I mention that Randy is dating Xander's ex-girlfriend? "Xander." Randy nods to him.

Birds’ chirpings meet my ears along with winds whispering through the light, flowery curtains, a figure standing tall beside the king-sized bed. I turn to my side to behold the redhead who has a facial appearance that is quite far from normal. I do not know how he knows that I am awake and thinking of the old man all these while. He may have missed the part where the only detail I know about Xaulfur is his half-Asian, half-Australian insane nature, and this person by my side does not look Asian at all.

Then, I picked up my phone. I wanted to send Ruby a message. I wanted to tell her that I had found Casper. I had just unlocked my phone when the chat suddenly flooded in. [Oh my god! "...if I should kill her..." "...or you." Randall was about to speak up when Prince Xavier continued, "Don't forget that I can read your mind." Hearing this, none of them dared to open their mouth to slander Rara no matter how much they hate her. Prince Xavier then jumped onto the altar and cut off the rope that was tying Rara. He reached out his hand to help Rara of the altar when she shrugged his hands off coldly.
