Ivory rounded her eyes when she realized who was coming. She slowly stepped back, planning to lie down on the bed, but before she could get there, the man outside had managed to open the door to her room and was now standing in front of Ivory, leaving her mind filled with questions and a strange, irregular feeling.

Ivara’s POV I was curled up on the bed with my knees tucked beneath the blanket, a book resting against my thighs. The room was quiet and peaceful. After everything that had happened over the past few days, I had discovered that reading was the easiest way to silence the chaos in my head. Thankfully, Xlynor had a small library here. Xavier A couple of hours passed before Renna finally stirred from her slumber. Throughout her unconsciousness, I had been vigilantly observing, clutching her hand tightly. However, as she awakened, a surge of anger surged within me, mirroring the sentiment shared by my wolf. In her eyes, Gerald was the most handsome guy, but sadly, he was already engaged. "Hello, nice meeting you," Ivory responded with a firm handshake. "Can we talk in private?" Ryder asked, and Ivory contemplated. Knowing that she had to move on from Gerald, just as he moved on, she still hesitated a little before agreeing, "Sure."
