The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

" Felix's interest immediately sparked. He knew almost nothing about the Rank-Ascending Competition, and neither did Gerald. Funny how a former Malevolent Phantom might actually be his best source of information. "I don't know everything, but I can tell you what I do know, as it could be of a little help. First off, our wave of Malevolent Phantoms was just the first. "The next group coming will be from the Orion family. They're extremely powerful. One of their ancestors won the Rank-Ascending Competition generations ago. They've already contacted multiple planets, and Earth is their next target." That caught Felix's attention, as Gerald had mentioned something about powerful families. "With

My Father's Rival Is My Lover

My Father's Rival Is My Lover

“Orion.” Delilah frowned. “That name mean anything to you?” Petra turned slowly. “Yes. It was Lucien’s failsafe. A partner he never told you about because he didn’t trust even you.” “Failsafe?” Roman said, stepping into the lab. “Explain.” “Before Lucien died, he backed up every line of his research to a quantum satellite network run by an AI he called ORION, short for Operational Recursive Intelligence of Networked Entities. It was his insurance policy. If his human efforts failed the machine would continue.”

HUNJI: A Broken Wolf & the last witch of Andora - Book 4

HUNJI: A Broken Wolf & the last witch of Andora - Book 4

“When Orion died, the news didn’t reach us for some weeks. He and his army protected this city and many others who recognized him as a King. Many years ago, when he came here, he offered us protection and peace if we, the council, would keep the location of his mate and daughter hidden. Of course, the council agreed, and Orion took residence in the Megaron. I was just a boy then, but my father was serving on the board at that point and with our family being record keepers, I am privy to the information. As are others.” He stands up and walks over to a caddy in the corner and pours himself a large drink of clear alcohol. The scent of the aniseed wafted up my nose. He knocks it back and pours

Yes, an excellent read, full of intrigue and drama, love and torment. All four of this series have been worth waiting for. Just one complaint: where are the next two books on Goodbooks? Do I need to look elsewhere? I hate leaving a story mid way, and need to know how it all finishes.

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

The Oracle's Luna

The Oracle's Luna

She said his name, her voice breaking sadly. “I just can’t be that mate…” He sighed. “I am so sorry, Kelly.” He proceeded to stand on his feet. Placing his hands in his pockets, he continued, “The Oracle is tomorrow night. You just turned eighteen last week; you’re still young. It’s a great place to find someone.” The Oracle was a ceremony that happened once a year. It was for werewolves to find a mate, but you had to be eighteen and above to attend. Everyone in the pack that could attend always did. Even the alpha of the pack and his Luna.

The Lycan King's Substitute Wife

The Lycan King's Substitute Wife

I dismissed her gesture and focused on what Orion had to say. "Not particularly but from some words he said during torture, I know that he works for the rebels," Orion said. I frowned. "Which rebels?" In my reign of ruling Moratia, I have come across a few groups of rebels. Some of whom were against my rule since I had to take out the rest of my family to ascend the throne. Others were rebels against the throne itself, spouting out words like democracy. And a few were humans who still wanted to rid Lycans off entirely.

ALPHA ORION: The Risen shadow Moon King

“Please, think, Ava… think, he said, just to me. A true Luna is a powerful one. There has been a formidable partnership by Cain. He will not be a beggar or a negotiator. He will take what he wants. I looked at Cain. His eyes were cold and starving. Then I took a look at Orion. He maintained his poise, and defended me with confidence still. Suddenly, my wolf whined. She did not like Cain's scent. She wanted Orion's. I shook my head. Before I knew it, the council used almost an hour to discuss. They argued about borders, treaties and the threat of rogues which was growing. Orion responded to all their questions in a consistent manner. He never raised his voice. He did not threaten anybody.

I'll Get My Revenge This Time

I'll Get My Revenge This Time

Orion softly whispered again. Orion embraced her tightly as Livia nestled into his chest, finding solace in his presence and shutting out the world with closed eyes. She drifted into sleep, exhausted and burdened by worries. Livia was completely unaware of her slumber when she was abruptly jolted awake by a blinding light. She gently opened her eyes. She felt a wave of relief wash over her as she noticed her father peacefully asleep, with a bandage over his right eye. Orion brought her to this room, and she appreciates the man. Her gaze wandered and landed on Orion, who was seated in the chair next to her small bed. The man is peacefully resting with his eyes closed. She allowed him to rest,

The Rogue Deity: Until Death Do Us Part

The Rogue Deity: Until Death Do Us Part

Even so, it was not enough to make Adorus abandon his mortal guise. Orion, too, fought with newfound confidence. His body seemed to move on its own, as though guided by an ancient, hidden memory etched into his very bones. He closed his eyes, focusing on Alinta, on the pain and torment she had endured. Ever since Silas had marked Angela, more of his memories had surfaced, chiefly of how Bellinor loomed like a dark eclipse over Alinta's light, smothering his mate's freedom in Umber Valley. Orion still didn’t know who he truly was, yet he recalled far more of his beloved mate than of himself. He even caught glimpses of her childhood: the way Bellinor would stare at her with a curious, too-ling

Forbidden Embrace

Forbidden Embrace

"I'll start searching immediately. Neptune's processors hummed as she accessed her vast database. "Searching... " her eyes glowed blue as she accessed the databases and records of other Androids like herself. After a few moments, she spoke up, "I've found something. A record from an Android who was doing reasearch for his human on the great betrayal. It seems that King Orion was once a close friend and ally of the Atlantian king, but a disagreement over the use of their powers led to a bitter feud."

Twin Aces: Claimed by the Alpha Captain (MM Romance)

"The Ironclaw Titans are a physical, heavy-hitting team. They aren't here to play a clean skating game. They are going to try to bully us along the boards. They are going to try to rattle our rookies. Orion, you control the center. Lucian, you use your elite speed to split their defensemen." I nodded, but my eyes automatically flicked toward the end of the bench. Orion was sitting perfectly still, his massive 6'3" frame looking like a mountain of pure, unyielding muscle. He was already fully geared, his dark visor down, obscuring his icy blue eyes. The thick, commanding scent of his crushed cedar wood pheromones was heavy in the air, a familiar protective blanket that usually calmed my nerve
