Wolves shifted all around me, their howls of defiance turning into whimpers of agony as the darkness consumed them. Then the air shifted. A presence descended upon us, heavy and suffocating. The battle paused, warriors staggering as something vast and unrelenting filled the space between heartbeats. Then he stepped forward. Raven. I knew it was him before I even saw him. The shadows bent around him, swallowing the light, making his form look more like a void than a man. He wore black armor, sleek and sharp, like it had been forged from the very darkness itself. His silver eyes gleamed with amusement as he surveyed the battlefield.

Some fires never die, they just wait for the right spark to reignite them. Raven stood in the center of our war room like she owned it, every inch of her dripping with smug confidence. Her black leather trench coat clung to her hourglass frame like a threat, and her piercing blue eyes locked with mine, unapologetic and predatory. She hadn’t come to play fair. I knew this woman — if not personally, then by the shape of the wounds she’d left behind in Damien. The silence that followed her name. The haunted look in his eyes when he thought I wasn’t watching. She was the ghost he never exorcised.

Killing someone wasn’t easy for her, but this was something she needed to do. She felt it was something she was destined to do. Her drone arms folded back into her back as the other Ravens came up around her. They held her up, even as her knees started to go weak. They all watched as the blood drained from That Idiot’s face, and out the hole in his chest. It poured out unceasingly and pooled around his knees. After a moment, he fell face-first into the ground as the last of his breath left his lungs. Then, darkness took him for the rest of eternity.

(A dark clearing. The scent of damp earth and blood. Raven waits, perched on a fallen log, silver glinting in her fingers. The moonlight filters through the trees, casting long, jagged shadows.) Doyle emerged from the darkness, moving soundlessly, the night wrapping around him like a second skin. “It’s done,” he assured Raven. Raven barely looked up, twirling a silver coin between her fingers. “And?” Doyle exhaled. “They have an intruder. I am guessing you have something to do with it based on the last time.” He enquired

Inside Raven University — Chancellor’s Wing The elevator doors slid open with a whisper-soft hiss, revealing a corridor that seemed carved from the very shadows of the ancient forest surrounding Raven University. Polished black stone floors gleamed under the soft glow of enchanted sconces—flames that danced without heat, their light flickering like distant lightning storms. The air was cool and crisp, laced with the faint, metallic tang of old magic and the ever-present undercurrent of pine from the woods beyond the walls. This was the Chancellor’s Wing, Damian Blackwood’s domain, where every echo felt like a judgment and every shadow hid a secret.

It seemed they didn’t care too much about the gruesome battle raging outside; their eyes were on the invisible barrier surrounding the house. As the witches walked along the edge, creating a semicircle around the barrier, another figure stepped out from the growing fog outside the tree line. The tall Raven had straight black hair that ran almost the entire length of her back. She was thin and had strange black markings all over her pale skin, which seemed to whirl on her skin as she began muttering something. A black film emerged as she chanted, swirling around her body in pulses.

the brunette responded like I wasn't in the same room with them. The one with dark hair walked to me. "I'm Othelia, nice of you to join us," she introduced warmly. I made to take her hand but she retracted it. "I'm sorry, I got tired," she smiled and the others giggled. My eyes narrowed at them. I wasn't here to play their childish games. "What's your name?" "Raven," the blonde responded on my behalf. "Haven't you heard of her? The dreaded wolf assassin. The one who men fear across kingdoms."

Raven’s hair and eyes are pitch black and her aura was that of an extraordinarily powerful Lycan Alpha. While Liliana’s hair is silvery white with eyes that are pale blue and white near the center, her aura radiates her powerful Lycan Healer abilities. “Daddy she’s here!” Liliana calls out with a look of relief flooding her like she is glad to see her sister’s ok. “Liliana, get back!” Rebecca snarls while running beside Gideon as I carry Raven outside into the snow finding Liliana’s lack of fear very amusing. “Raven, what are you doing where have you been, it’s morning?” Gideon panics taking her from my arms possessively as I rub her back trying to keep her calm.

I was familiar with it as that was where we got our wolfsbane darts supply, which would explain how the rogue was able to obtain them. We stormed in to be greeted by the brothel’s madam, clad in a leathery dress clinging to her bony figure. I’d met her once before. Normally my father picked up the supply, but I’d gone with him a couple of times to become familiar with the operation. “Mr. Adalwolf.” She nodded at me. “Here without your father?” “My father is dead,” I replied. “Which is why I’m here.
