Elisabeth POV 10 Years Later “Mom! Are we ready to go yet? I can’t wait to see Elliot… and his brother and sisters!” I’m waiting in the foyer of the castle, and mom is taking her sweet time getting Raven ready to go. Raven is my mom’s granddaughter, but she and I are like sisters, and she is only five. My mom, Queen Winnie, is actually my stepmom. She has never tried to keep it a secret either. I’m only ten, but she raised me to be independent. That would also be why I’m ready and Raven is not. She likes to play the helpless child role a little too much. I keep telling her that it’s going to bite her one day, but she loves the attention a little too much to stop. Finally, Raven runs downstai

“You look different without the gala makeup. Just as stunning, though.” “Thank you.” Raven pulled out my chair, his hand lingering at the small of my back as I sat. Minerva’s lips twitched—forced smile. I pretended not to notice, scanning the menu instead. Smoked salmon—yes. “Anything else?” Raven murmured, his thumb brushing my hip. “We should order takeout for the kids,” I reminded him. Dane’s brows shot up. “You have kids?” Raven smirked. “Ten, actually.”

She was older than me, maybe twenty-eight, with blonde hair styled in a bob, clear blue eyes, and a body that belonged on a magazine cover. She wore all black gear that somehow looked both professional and predatory. Her eyes raked over me with open disgust. "I'm Raven," she said, her voice filled with scorn. "I'm the head of protection for Cassian's girls at Elysium.” "Girls?" "He didn't tell you?” She smiled, “I guess you're not that important, though I suppose you'll be joining the roster of dancers soon enough." "I'm not a dancer." "Not yet, give it a few weeks. They all end up there eventually."

It was a habit that I had developed as a doctor. "Oh, go ahead. Take a guess," she said, playing a game, taking a step closer to me. "Go ahead. You won't offend me." I shrugged again. "I don't know, maybe twenty-eight or twenty-nine tops? But no older than thirty." "Huh, I'm slipping," Raven said without anger, stepping away. Then, she turned to face me. "I just celebrated my two hundredth and twentieth birthday last week."

“It’s starting to look like a proper pack out there,” I can’t hide my smile when I hear Raven’s voice from behind me. “Raven,” I gasp, turning to see her standing in the doorway of my room with Roan in her arms. “Lily, you look so beautiful,” Raven smiles, despite looking exhausted and run down from what I would guess is a lack of sleep. I blush standing in front of her, wearing a lavender white ombre A-line floor length gown with a large slit up to my thigh on one side.

“I can't recall my age, how old do you think I am?“ She asks. He observed her for some moments, “You look older than Raven by a year or two.“ “How old is Raven?“ Selena asks. “23.“ She did a little thinking, “I should be 25 then?“ He nodded, “Or 24.“ A little silence ensued between them as they walked into thicker parts of the wood. “How old are you?“ “You ask too many questions?“ “You look old, that's why.“ She chuckled. “I am not old,” He refuted, seemingly annoyed by her stance. “What are you? 40.“ He gasped at her, “27!”

I ask while kneeling down in front of her feeling how uneasy she feels hearing her parents yelling for her. I can’t help blushing a little when I stare into her obsidian eyes noticing her looking me over trying to understand what she is feeling. “I don’t know,” she whimpers at Rebecca screaming for her so I nod and scoop her up into my arms. “It’s ok come on,” I reassure while carrying her towards the barn door to find her identical twin opening the door. They are very much the same except, their hair, eyes, and abilities. Raven’s hair and eyes are pitch black and her aura was that of an extraordinarily powerful Lycan Alpha.

I laughed as Max rolled his eyes, "Remember when she was a sweet little girl, Ells?" "And now look at you," I said taking her hands, "So grown up and tall." She smiled down at me and laughed. She was a few inches taller than me and had the most elegant figure, despite only being 17. Her eyes were large, dark and round and her hair, thick long locks of chocolate brown. She really was beautiful. "Yeh and she has all the boys swooning over her," Max grumbled. "I'm having to fight one in particular off the doorstep almost every day."

"You were about to say something, my dear." Even the wild dragon had his master. And she knew damn well how to tame his fiery nostrils anytime. Like this time. I cleared my throat and began, "I'm Iris Sawyer from the Dark Moon pack. I'm twenty-three years old..." "Twenty-three?" She cut me off before I could continue. "You look more mature than twenty-three. I'd have sworn you are age mates with my son." She diverted her attention to Gustav and asked, "Isn't that right?"
