Along his forearms, the veins did not just tighten, they rose and bulged like ropes. Then came the hands. The fingers began to lengthen and thicken with horrific speed, the knuckles popping with an unnerving sound. From the tips, where soft flesh should be, five obsidian-black, razor-sharp claws slowly pushed through the skin. “So unfortunate!” Raven's voice echoes through the darkness. The second he stands behind me, I can feel his presence. I quickly rise to my feet and face him, guarding Jay behind me. He's wearing a hoodie, his eyes seem to be a gift from the devil.

It is the physical manifestation of compromise. Raven was currently perched on the northern wall of the Hub, twenty feet above the frozen ground. He was working with Kael, the lead scout from Oakhaven, who had come down with the timber. Between them lay the first massive cedar tie-beam, its scent so potent it made Raven’s eyes water.

Estrid cooed to her daughter, pointing to the first of the shadowy figures that stepped out from the roiling mass. Signe let out a delighted squeal which had the wolf’s ears pricking forward in curiosity while the little girl kicked her legs in the air. The wolf moved slowly, head dropping close to the ground and Estrid was sure she could see the creature’s nose twitching just like a real wolf’s nose as it scented the air. Behind him three more wolves appeared, holding back as their leader took cautious steps towards the mother and child. She tied the folded fabric securely around the raven’s leg… a mark only Elia would recognize instantly. “To Elia,” she whispered, her hand pausing on the bird's feathers. “Crimson Blood Pack. Find her.” The raven tilted its head as though it understood. The woman in the cloak gathered the bird in her hands and carried it outside. The sky was still dim, painted in early gray light. “Go, Shadow,” she whispered. With a powerful beat of its wings, the raven soared into the air. Within moments, it vanished into the horizon… a dark shadow blending into the dawn.

Raphael is more interested in the beauty in his arms. He turned her in his arms so that now she is looking at him. He locked his gaze with hers. Slowly the fog around him began to disappear, showing the form of the real Raphael. The handsome Raven Prince. But his eyes are still pitch black and he still looks scary to everyone. There is still no recognition in him about who he is. But the darkness and the urge to kill and immense hatred are not so intense.

Raven, in his wolf form, dodged, but the rogue's claw touched his side, grazing him. "How dare you?!" Raven uttered. Blood spattered on the ground; a low growl rumbled from him. They circled each other, eyes locked, each move slow and calculated. Then, Raven surprised the rogue with a sudden pounce, his jaws snapping as he drove the rogue against the root of a towering tree. The rogue let out a piercing howl, still defiant and trying to escape, but Raven didn't give him a chance and sunk his sharp claws in his throat, ending the rogue's life.

There shouldn’t be! Her raven braid flew behind, her palms colliding with the cabin’s sturdy wall as she collapsed nearly on it. Running in the snow had taken its toll on her. Forgetting to breathe properly, she made her way towards the entrance, the heart dripping in grief. Grandmother! The sweet old lady that snuck in pies right before bed. She had the darkest of eyes that had been inherited by her late mother and now her…and she was the only sign left of her mother’s compassion…grandma!

He gets interrupted by Penelope before he can continue. "Raven has a red sword on the hind leg of her wolf with a crescent moon on her forhead. She is the warrior of the moon." I look at her dumbfounded. For one, No one was suppose to know about my wolf's appearance and two, I had no idea there was a red sword on my hind leg.

The clatter of weapons and the growling of wolves filled the air, the sounds of battle booming through the night. Moving deliberately, my senses sharpened as I joined the fighters in their battle. Though every instinct screamed at me to keep near Jackson, I knew he wanted me to guard the pack and make sure nobody else stumbled into the Raven's trap. Amid the anarchy, I noticed a familiar person at the edge of the clearing—a tall, skinny woman covered in darkness, her face buried under a hood. The Raven: She watched, her face blank as her powers interacted with ours. But there was a spark of gratification in her eyes, a silent challenge squarely targeted at me.

Raven declares as she digs her hands deeper, ripping apart Dagon's chest. Dagon doesn't even get a chance to speak as he drops to the ground bleeding out; Raven stands above him with the sword still piercing her torso. Bane quickly drops the barrier, but Jonathan beats me to Raven's side, as he catches her when she collapses and shifts back to her human form.
