The blood on it dripped as I yanked it free. My grip tightened. My viridescent eyes glowed. I could feel the madness swirling inside me again. “Have you gone mad?” one of them whispered. “T-This voice...” the blue-caped hunter stammered. The wind began to settle. And as the storm broke, they saw me. Me. The infamous Riding Hood. Their expressions morphed from confusion to fear. “C-Captain Scarletflame? Why are you—” “I should be the one asking that,” I said coldly. I flicked my wrist and sent a spray of blood onto the snow. “Who the hell ordered you to come here? These people haven’t done anything.”

“Murderer! Where’s my sister?!” A girl pushed through the crowd, her face streaked with tears and dust. She grabbed another stone, rage twisting her features. Before she could throw it, someone moved faster. A tall figure stepped between us, his arm coming up just in time to block the blow. The world seemed to still. I looked up, and there he was. Alaric. The Raven King himself. His eyes… deep, stormy gray, locked on mine. His jaw tightened as he turned to glare at the crowd, his presence alone enough to make grown men bow their heads.

“What… does that mean? You said--” The woman reached for her hood, and my heart lurched. The face that had looked at me in that hazy dream when I was in the cave was looking at me. Her face looked so much like my mother’s in the painting, but there were several differences that told me that she wasn’t. She was a relative of some sort. “Who… are you?’ “If you’d like the formality, I am Raven, the second princess of the United Vampire Covens.” She said with a small smirk. “I am also the true leader of the Blood Moon Coven, more commonly known as the Red Moon Pack.”

Far beyond the safety of the palace walls, a lone raven landed silently upon the stone ledge of the outermost eastern watchtower. One of the vanguard guards frowned, his hand dropping to his weapon. "Strange bird..." The raven didn't move an inch. It didn't make a sound. It simply sat there, staring directly at the guard. Its large, unblinking eyes were a deep, terrifying crimson. The guard slowly reached his gloved hand toward the creature to shoo it away. Instantly, the raven exploded into a thick, swirling cloud of black mist. The dark vapor twisted violently through the night air, rapidly gathering into sharp, floating words before the guard's eyes:

Bones cracked, fur exploded along her limbs, claws split from her fingertips, and her vision sharpened until she could see every raindrop, every breath of her enemies. In seconds, where Raven once stood, a massive pure black wolf now prowled, eyes glowing like molten gold, teeth bared and dripping with hunger. Ragnar stumbled back, eyes wide with shock, but he didn’t run. He didn’t even scream. The rogues hesitated for half a breath too long. Raven struck. She was a shadow in the rain, claws slashing, teeth tearing as she collided with the first rogue, ripping into his shoulder with a savage snap of her jaws. He howled, trying to fight back, but she was faster, stronger, fueled by the need t

Third Person POV Wearing his old bonnet, Raven is riding his bike, way to the headquarters where the meetings of the Mafia boses are held. The snow is nothing more like a hint of good day to spend time with someone you love, but it not to Raven. Slippery road sign tend to be unnecessary to Raven's speed. Police mobiles are running in a hurry to catch him, but eventually, he is leading them to the location. He really wish they didn't changed their location!

“Bring the Black Coast shipment codes, the account access, and every fucking file you stole.” A sob caught painfully in my throat. What the hell were they talking about? “I swear I don’t know anything,” I whispered desperately. “I don’t even know who Ravens is.” One of the men barked out a laugh. “Damn. She really clueless.” “Not our fucking problem,” another muttered. The gun pressed harder into my skin and my breathing immediately turned shaky again. “You hear that, Ravens?” the man said into the phone. “Fourteen hours before we paint the floor with her brains.”
