Mage of Wolves
That’s when I heard the clapping.
I turned my head to see we’d drawn a bit of a crowd from the diner and whatever businesses were nearby. We were out of town just a ways right now, but I figured these people had heard the commotion and came running. Now, they were cheering as Raven shifted back into her human form, wearing a sort of fur bikini. I hadn’t even thought of gathering up her clothing. Luckily, some young man I didn’t recognize had those for her and handed them over. “Thanks,” Raven said to him, still a little disoriented, it seemed. She turned to me and said, “Thank you, too.”
