Callum picked it up and just as he was about to aim it at Jasper, Lyra stood in the way. It was already late as it had left his hands and was heading straight to Lyra’s forehead. Everything happened in slow motion before Lyra’s eyes. The force and speed it was coming with, she knew she would not be able to dodge it. So she watched it coming straight to her, piercing through the air, moving with a high velocity. She squeezed her eyes shut waiting for the impact but there was none. All she felt was a gust of wind.
