Re:zero Royal Candidates Novels & Stories

That is why they have no choice but to retreat and to believe in the Commander's words. "We shall retreat, " states Kingsley as the carriages hold back away from the borders of the Jumiere Kingdom. "We have to inform the King that we will be returning to the Kingdom with eight candidates for the title-" William cuts Kingsley, "it's nine ladies, nine candidates." It astonished Kingsley, but William explains, "count it as nine. I have a feeling that King Julio is certain of sending one omega from his land. I place my trust in the Commander's words."

I admire how the lies are flowing from the Queen's mouth. "Ladies and gentleman, may I introduce to you, Princess Rosalie from the Kingdom of Thalia. Escorted by Prince Renevier Rutledge along with the other king candidates." I heard the queen say something to my side. But I wasn't really paying any attention to her, because when the prince marched forward to the stairs, paused at the step.

“Uh, who is this majesty that you are talking about?...” It was the woman’s turn to leave her mouth hanging open. Eventually, she cleared her throat, “It’s none other than Langrey –formally known as his Imperial Majesty, Prince Langrion Zephiry Romualdi, the king’s nephew and one of the heirs to the throne. Or maybe you can call him Langrey too. It might be a good idea to create the illusion that you are close enough and that the engagement wasn’t rushed in, like, a day...or in a few minutes.”

“Let me tell you the truth–” Zero grabbed his hand and snapped his wrist backwards. He released it just before he could break it. Then, he allowing his aura to burst forth, revealing his rank. “I am Alpha Zero of the Azure Pack, and the king’s cousin. I’ll not warn you twice. Disrespect the king’s guard one more time and you’ll no longer be treated like a guest.” Realising the gravity of Devon’s mistake, Allison quickly stepped forward and held Devon’s arm. “We are sorry, it was a misunderstanding,” she apologised to Zero. “We did not mean to cause any trouble.”

The room falls silent the moment I enter. "Please, take your seat," Andrew says. I sit beside Nana, glad that she’s given back her position after Thane is put into the dungeons, unable to ignore the strange expressions everyone is wearing. Andrew folds his hands together. "Lady Venus. The council has reached a unanimous decision." My heartbeat quickens. "What decision?" Gerald clears his throat. "With His Majesty Rowan temporarily removed from active duty the kingdom requires a ruler." I nod slowly. That much makes sense.

There's been a lot of scandals surrounding me lately but all of them are not true so to slowly due them down, I have to go to London to continue my school here. In London, I'll be Logan Christian. I don't want to stand out in the crowd so I decided to just befriend a nerdy, lonely and weird girl named Amanda Estelle. I heard that she's actually the granddaughter of Elliot Estelle, one of the richest men in England but I don't really care. She's not as weird as I thought she would be, she's just building a wall with other people.

Chapter Three Jasper took out an envelope out of his pants pocket. My lips parted in shock seeing the Royal red seal over it. It was issued by Queen Reina. She's the headmaster of all academies, and head of the council of Nine, SevenA which is known as NineA, a team of powerful Alphas. Nine means the most powerful nine Alpha. She's the head of them, like our goddess on the earth. My cousin, Jasper, and Drake are part of Nine. The others are Alessandro, Edward, Daniel, and Carlos. The two spots are waiting for the rightful heirs and The king. I have heard my half-sister Ava saying that King would come and reclaim his position. I never heard any prophecy saying that the king and queen will ret

He wiped a speck of dust from his lapel. "Cover your eyes, Elara," he commanded. "Why?" I choked out. "Because I am about to ruin this suit." Three more rogues landed on the balcony. They circled us. They were huge. Foaming at the mouth. Their eyes were crazed. They held jagged knives that dripped with something green. Poison. "Kill the King!" one screamed. "The New Order rises!" Damon laughed. It was a cold, dry sound. "New Order? You are just meat."

I Everyone keeps calm except Willow, who raises his hand up. Regent Smith gives a fake smile and says," courageous! I love people who are courageous, they tend to amaze me!” He says, clapping his hands so slowly. “Anyone here who doesn't want my daughter to be the candidate for the crown princess selection should raise his or her hand now or never! “ No one dares to raise their hand, as they know he wouldn't let them be in peace. So, in this case, my daughter, Micah, emerges as the winner and Willow daughter as well. But… The Kings say to produce only one candidate, this implies that we will have to vote between Micah and Emilia whoever wins is the rightful candidate.

A voice amplified by luminous magic announced: “Presenting the challenger of Solaris—Princess Alessia Keren Endymion!” A wave of murmurs swept across the arena. Alessia inhaled sharply. Then the voice boomed again: “Presenting the champion of Noctis—Prince Ravion Vesper Noctis!” A shadow rippled across the arena. Dark mist coiled at the opposite entrance. Steps echoed—slow, deliberate, elegant. Ravion emerged, tall, impossibly graceful, and with a cloak of black feathers brushing the ground. A curved blade sheathed at his hip. His violet eyes locked onto Alessia instantly. He smiled, calm, cold, and predatory.
