14 Days With The Mafia Lord

14 Days With The Mafia Lord

I picked him off the floor and walked us to the bedroom. "Can't I stay up for five more minutes?" Adrian asked, his beautiful jade eyes shimmering in the glow of his Power Ranger night light. "No, baby, you have school tomorrow," I told him, getting into the bed beside him. "How about a bedtime story?" "Yes!" he squealed excitedly. I chuckled and brought out my phone. After a few pages of the children's book I'd saved on my Kindle, Adrian was fast asleep. Plugging my phone in, I settled beside him, stroking his dark hair away from his chubby face.

TWO PINK LINES, ONE NIGHT STAND

TWO PINK LINES, ONE NIGHT STAND

]* Bedtime. Not Alex’s room. Not ‘through.’ Our room. Big bed. Knight bed. Day 1 bed. Twins. Middle. Already asleep. Sand in hair. _HOME_ washed off. Still there. Alex. End of bed. Book. _Not_ shark. _Not_ court. _Not_ 11 seconds. _The House That Was Just Home._ Susan wrote it. Last night. 4 AM. “Therapy,” she said. Illustrated it. Stick figures. Us. Bear. No bad men.

Pregnant By My Ex-Boyfriend's Father

Pregnant By My Ex-Boyfriend's Father

"Mama. Dada. Luna sleep?" "It's 7 PM, baby. Way past your bedtime." "Story first?" "Always story first." We followed her to her room—no longer a nursery, now a full toddler room with a big girl bed she'd recently transitioned to. "Which book tonight?" Alexander asked. "ALL books!" "We're not reading all the books. Pick three." "Five!" "Three." "Four!" "Deal. Four books." She selected them carefully. "Hungry Caterpillar. Wild Things. Good Night Moon. And... this one!"

Dangerous Obsessions: She’s mine to claim!

She mumbles and I nod. “He will love it. But you need to sleep for now. I will read you a bedtime story.” I offer, retrieving a book. There is a happy look on Annika’s face as I flip through the book. I begin to read her the book and I'm not even halfway done when she falls asleep.

The Reclaimed Rose

The Reclaimed Rose

Willow thought for a moment before replying, "I want to sleep. Goodnight, Daddy." She then pulled me into the bedroom and closed the door. She handed me her pajamas and said, "Mom, help me change into my pajamas." "Alright." Willow was very cooperative, so the change was quick and easy. She was in her pajamas in no time and happily dove under the covers. She then poked her little head out with a bright smile and said, "Mom, read me a bedtime story." The house had plenty of picture books. I picked one suitable for her age and began reading from the first page. It was unclear if she was already tired or if my voice was too soothing, but she fell asleep before I could read the first page.

Love After Divorce

Love After Divorce

“Adrian, your family is so nice.” Baby lay in bed and looked at Adrian who was reading a book and said. “I know.” Adrian turned over a page and answered Baby’s question. “Do you have to read a book before you go to bed?” Baby didn’t understand why and looked at Adrian in confusion. “Yes.” Adrian was used to reading books. When he was young, Stella told him stories before he fell asleep. Later, he read books by himself, so he didn’t need Stella to tell him stories.

The worse novel I've read in the past 3 years! A waste of money which I would gladly ask for a refund. The story of abuse, mental and physical violence, and harassment. A stupid, powerless, useless woman falls for an SM monster, and stays at her son's expenses.
Prasanna polipalli
such a stupid story... irritating characters... lady lost the brain cells, how she live by herself for 6 years.. laughable, no back bone. it's too much than lag like daily serial. what is the meaning of this worst story.. one simple day activities,I'm reading around more than 20 episodes

My Bully CEO Won't Leave Me Alone

My Bully CEO Won't Leave Me Alone

he whimpered, clearly about to cry. “Your mother has already read you six books, buddy.” Aaron tried to comfort him, although this only seemed to make Alec cling to Rose even more "The whole family came here to hear your bedtime story, just like you wanted, right?" he waved around, to the bed where he and his wife were sitting, and the armchairs where Andy, Jullian and Adele were, all looking at that scene with heavy hearts “It's getting late and we all need to sleep. So why don’t you…”

Nichola Boyd
I very much enjoyed this story. The flow from chapter to chapter was refreshing as there was no repetition in what happened from one chapter to the next. I did, however, find the incorrect usage of pronouns to be a little confusing. Overall, it's a great story author. I look forward to reading more

Loved all the past books and each story within this one.I wish they would have mentioned Massimo as her client once. Also why she didn’t keep up the A in the kids name as her fam tradition it would’ve been cute the name they chose as a middle name&still call them by that but have a first name with A

Divorce But Stronger Chasing My Ex-wife Back

Divorce But Stronger Chasing My Ex-wife Back

they squealed, and I felt so proud of myself. "Thank you, my babies; Mummy will always make you proud," I beamed and then helped them into the room. Prepared their bath and then changed their clothes to their nightwear. "Mummy read us a bedtime story," Maya requested, shoving one of the storybooks in my hands. Smiling, I sat down on their bed and began reading to them. "Once upon a time, there was a mouse named Rafe..." A few minutes later, and they were already asleep. I stood up quietly, kissed them on their forehead and turned off the light before tiptoeing out of their room and walking to the bathroom to have my bath and sleep.

His Regret Began When I Abandoned Him

His Regret Began When I Abandoned Him

Aurora sat cross-legged on the sofa while hugging her rabbit doll, while Daven was already half-lying on Camelia’s lap with eyes that were beginning to grow sleepy. But as usual, before going to sleep, the two children always had a request. “Uncle Calvin!” Aurora called out with sparkling eyes. Calvin, who was tidying up the milk glasses on the table, turned around with a smile. “Yes, little princess?” Aurora immediately raised her little hand. “We want you to read us a bedtime story.” Daven, who had almost fallen asleep, immediately sat up again and nodded quickly. “Yes! An exciting story!”

Divorced By Mistake: My Ex-wife Becomes a CEO

he jokes, and I playfully roll my eyes, laughing with him. Then, Bill says, "Let's go see the kids' books. I want to get him something." His excitement is catching, and I follow him to the colorful shelves. He picks up "Goodnight Moon." "For bedtime at my place," he says softly, making my heart melt a little. I find a book about baby animals and nudge him. "This one's for afternoons with me. We'll turn him into an animal lover for sure." Bill laughs and agrees, adding both books to the pile in his arms.
