His Betrayal, My Second Chance

His Betrayal, My Second Chance

~CAMILLE~ When I returned to the room, my eyes caught a book on the stool beside the bed. It was the one I had been reading yesterday before the heat—A Wolf Before Title. He must have taken it with him yesterday, since I was clinging to it before he arrived. That was thoughtful of him. Since I had nowhere to go today, I decided to read until the day ended. Picking up the book, I settled onto the bed, lying on my side, and opened to the next page. I hadn’t even finished the first paragraph when a thud came at the door.

The Wife He Never Meant to Love

The Wife He Never Meant to Love

She hoped to be looking at it for many more. They went to bed at ten. She read for twenty minutes, the island novel she had been finishing slowly because the final weeks of the pregnancy had made sustained concentration at night less reliable than usual. She read carefully, going back when she lost the thread, until she arrived at the last page and finished it and lay with the closed book on her chest for a moment, the way she always sat with finished books before she put them away. He was already asleep. She set the book on the nightstand and turned off the lamp and lay in the dark and listened to his breathing, even and slow beside her.

Is Rowan's pride for me, my goodness, am offering you security like she asked for it?. I was excited when Elara asked him if she requested for it. The marriage hasn't been signed yet and it's looking rigid. oh my.

The tension between them is insane. That slow shift from cold obligation to something neither of them planned for? I couldn’t put it down. If you love intense, emotional mafia romance, i highly recommend this one.

Angels of the Burning Sun

Angels of the Burning Sun

They were all about curses and psychic abilities, which he found interesting as he had never studied such things before. He picked out one particular book called 'The Secrets of Mind' and started reading it. After some time of studying and reading, he felt his body getting heavy and his eyelids drooping until he eventually fell asleep in the chair he was in. A few hours later Petra who had come back to check on him knocked the door but no response, so she opened the door. She smiled upon seeing him in deep sleep, understanding his exhaustion from all the studying he had done during her absence.

Fall For My Ex's Mafia Dad

Fall For My Ex's Mafia Dad

So, I move to my wardrobe, and strip off my fluffy robe, and pull on the warmest, comfiest, least sexy pajamas I have – blue flannel, button down, with little stars on them – and crawl back into my bed. After looping my still-damp hair onto my head in a messy bun, I pick up a book from my nightstand, flick on my reading light, and start to read, trying to wipe thoughts of Kent from my mind. The book is a good one – I’m quickly engrossed in the romance of it, the quick twists and turns of the plot, the plight of the heroine which is, indeed, quite shocking. But nothing shocks me more than a sudden noise in my own room.

Just so you know. The kiss app has this under Forbidden Temptation: My Mafia Fiance's Alpha Father. Looks like it started getting posted there a few months ago. Under author name Ella Black. Literally, the same exact story with the names changed.

HIS SECRET WIFE

HIS SECRET WIFE

I pulled a book to read for the rest of the day before I had dinner. The nurse checked on me before I went to sleep. Mother-in-law came to say goodnight which warmed my heart even more and I was left alone, succumbing to sleep.

awesome book! Brandy's character rocks she is smart funny strong, compassionate loving and vulnerable. One of the best female leads I've read. She has you laughing one minute and wanting to cry the next how she is treated. She deserves only the best. I bet Storm will give her that before it's over.

Love Under the Mistletoe

“I hope so. Maybe a good book, too.” “Nonfiction or fiction?” He turned and faced her. “On vacation? Fiction. Before bed, non-fiction.” “Why non-fiction before bed?” “I like the fiction books too much. I won’t sleep. I have to know what the next chapter is. Does the dragon devour the town? Do the aliens win? How does the pauper become a prince? What about you?” the man asked. “Fiction or non-fiction?” “Fiction. I am a sucker for a good romance. And Dr. Seuss, of course, but that’s more on a professional level.”

Married at First Sight

Married at First Sight

She said, “These novels have strong male and female protagonists. “You can have a look at them. I usually read genres like family feuds and transmigration. I don’t really like stories with confusing plots.” Imogen accepted the books. After flipping through them briefly, she said, “How much are these? I’ll buy them and read them before sleeping. I think it’ll help with my sleep.” She did not like reading novels, and people like her usually feel sleepy quickly while reading. Therefore, reading could help with sleeping in some ways. On the other hand, those who love to read would be captivated by the story and refuse to sleep before finishing the book. That would affect their sleep cycle.

Thus far the book ... was compelling but disappointed that there is no ending to the novel. I planned on reading another book after this but with this experience why would I since there might not be and ending to that one as well! Bummer! Please do better so you don’t loose customers in the future.

Captured by the Demon King

Captured by the Demon King

I managed to throw my legs over the edge of the bed and I peeked at the clock with one eye. 9 o'clock. My eyes went to the two plates again. Lunch and dinner. It was already dawn when Adrian and I went back after our interaction with Samael. I had slept the entire day. Well. Minus the pauses where Adrian demanded full attention from my body and mind. A book on the other nightstand made me crawl to the other side of the bed. Pride and prejudice. "Oh my god." I whispered softly to myself. My fingers touched the worn book. This was the book I read on top of Asta with Adrian behind me. He kept it. A small note peeked from the page. I opened the book on that page and read the neatly written words

The Book is Amazing! although for me it's quite hanging in the end, I really wished we can read Adrian's reaction to Bri's pregnancy and maybe A little glimpse of what their life is like with their child/children. I hope in Sammi and Fay's book we can have a cameo or special chapter. Love em both sm

Love, love, love this book!!! Very unique storyline. Adrian is the definition of sexy, Alpha male. Elle is a strong, independent woman and one tough human! I'm wondering when the bonus chapter is coming out? You mentioned that at the end of the book. And book 2, I need that too. Like right now! ;-)

Lauren POV Morning comes the same way it always does now, quiet, early, refreshing. I wake before my alarm, before the city fully remembers itself, before my mind has time to wander into places I no longer allow it to live in. The ceiling above me is unfamiliar but safe. That’s how I like it now. I sat in the silent, slightly dark room for about 15 minutes before picking up the new book I'd gotten the last time I went shopping. Atomic Habits by James Clear.

The Master's Child

The drawers are jammed with underwear: panties, bras, stockings. What else? The bedside tables... A pair of lamps. A plastic tumbler and a bottle of sparkling water. A clock. A radio. I slide open a drawer: hairbrush. A bottle of paracetamol. Tissues... At the back, a book. 'Poisonous and Psychoactive Plants: a Handbook.' Interesting choice of bedtime reading... I slide the drawer closed again. Something's pulling at me. Something missing. I can't put my finger on it.

Frequently Asked Questions

If I could recommend a fantastic book to cozy up with before bed, it would have to be 'The Night Circus' by Erin Morgenstern. This enchanting tale weaves a mesmerizing story about a magical competition between two young illusionists that unfolds within a mysterious circus that appears only at night. The writing is so vivid and lush; it paints the scenes in your mind with colors and textures that make it hard to put down. The enchanting imagery creates a serene atmosphere as you slowly drift into the world of dreams. I often find myself getting lost in the whimsical descriptions and character interactions, which makes it a perfect bedtime read.

This novel's lyrical prose serves to soothe the mind after a long day. Instead of jumping into something too action-packed or dramatic, which can keep you tossing and turning, you're gently lulled by the beauty of Morgenstern's words. Plus, the pacing is such that you can easily read a few chapters and then close the book, feeling like you've been transported somewhere magical without the anxiety of unfinished plotlines. In my experience, there’s nothing like falling asleep with visions of a fantastical circus dancing in your mind.

So, if you're looking for a captivating yet calming read that tempers your mind for sleep, 'The Night Circus' might just be the ticket. Who knows? You might even catch a glimpse of the night’s magic in your dreams!
