Death & Life

Death & Life

He looked at me a little concerned. "I'm not leaving unless you come with me," I told him and squeezed his hand. He smiled back at me. "I don't know if you remember what happened the first time I visited your home and what I am, um, I'm Death and I'm immortal," I stated firmly and watched an array of emotions cross his eyes. "What does that even mean, you kill people and cannot die," he asked incredulously. I bit my lip and sighed.

The Banished Alpha Heir

The Banished Alpha Heir

Zayn laid hold of his shirt and snared, "Who the fvck are you all?" He laughed and sniffed with blood running out of his nose, "We are the revolution" He slowly let go of the body to the ground and the man was gone. He was dead. Zayn turned and his eyes met with that of Allegra whose fist was tightened. She said to him, "Another dead end, these guys keep dying like it's nothing" "It sounds strange but they die after saying, Hail, Alpha Ajax. Like an activator for the death or something"

If you haven't read a JM Snap book yet, you will not regret it. The stories are woven together perfectly. You will laugh, cry and probably scream too. So far this book has, betrayal, mates, vampires, a jealous woman and secrets. I'm sure it's gonna be a great book!

This is by far 1 of the BEST books I have EVER read. This Author's mind is truly brilliant. You can vividly see when someone has found their passion & is invested in their craft. In true honesty I'm amazed at the different depths in which this Author's mind is able to go. Extraordinarily Brilliant!

One Night Child

One Night Child

Death has no regard for anyone, regardless of size, class, religion, or anything else. Death doesn't inform before it shows up at the door of an individual. Death doesn't make friends with anyone. Everybody is going to be dead one day, just give them time. Death is the penalty we all pay for the privilege of life. Death, for all his power, cannot carry water from the river with a sieve. Death, taxes and childbirth! There’s never any convenient time for any of them. A single death is a tragedy; a million deaths is a statistic Death is not the opposite of life, but a part of it

Crimson's Game

Crimson's Game

Someone's POV ‘Death, an irreversible cessation of all vital functions a human body has. A permanent stoppage of the heart's beat. Sighing of last breath. Not being able to wake up the next morning. Unable to see how the sun rose. A reality humans fear to encounter; poor souls.’ Elle yawned as she thought to herself, tapping the table, boredly staring nowhere. From time to time, her eyes would caught a glimpse of the doctor who was scrolling on her background profile.

I have read this and the other 3 so far. I am on Anacalgons story. These books are unlike anything I've read before. The way she blends all of the books creating one story within 5 books. Having the different points of views has been a new experience for me. Very well done author ............

Yes, we cry blood; some stories get that part right. We can also die. There is no special way to kill us, no magical ritual or special tactics needed. We heal frighteningly fast, but if something kills us quickly enough, we don't have time to repair ourselves. That's why we're usually dispatched with a strike to the heart or blow to the head. Fire also does a number on us, overwhelming our systems so thoroughly that we don't know how to fix it. Sunlight won't kill us, but it does, like Stoker said, take our powers away. Also, when we do meet our final curtain, we don't become dust, or revert to our “true” age, or burst into flames. Nothing fantastic and cinematic-like that occurs at all. We
