Read Like A Historian Novels & Stories

It was a compilation of information about the Alpha Kings including my father who had reigned. But that wasn't why I froze. I froze because, for the first time in what had to be months, I thought of a different time I was reading this book. I thought of Alpha Jaxon. That quickly, I was back in our week together. "History is boring, stop reading it." He flicked the back of the book I was reading. I knew he didn't really find history boring, he just didn't like my attention not being on him. He breathed out slowly, the exhale sounding more like surrender than fatigue. “You humans…” he began, voice rough but steady, “You think you understand history, but you only read what’s left after the blood dries.” Corey tilted his head, his wine glass paused halfway to his lips. “When you say you humans, what do you mean exactly?” His tone was careful—half teasing, half cautious.

She had spent the last three hours entirely immersed in Lucian's personal ledgers, her charcoal pencil flying across the pages of her notebook as she cataloged the volumes in strict chronological order. The initial terror of her morning dream had transformed into a deep, consuming fascination. I planned to study History and international studies if I ever get the opportunity to become a student in college. I want to check on the books to read, but a book draw my attention to it "MIRACULOUS WOLF" I was suddenly drawn towards the book but I stopped myself why should I believe in things that are not real. My grandmum does tell me stories about them and they all end up being interesting, But I didn't feel like reading them. I just went for another historical book, it won't be bad to try this one. I took it and went to the front seat so I can enjoy it and also be observant about who goes in and out.

I swallowed the hard ball in my throat, fighting away the tears brimming to my eyes at the thought of him in suffering, trying to shift my focus and energy to the papers before me. I leafed through the newspapers carefully, reading accounts of old baseball games and town events, searching tirelessly for context clues that could lead me to the historian ahead. Some articles had a familiar lilt to them, the cadence of words flowing similar to that of the journals. Each one had a different byline, and I grew more and more discouraged with every one.

I mentally rolled my eyes and composed an answer on my head before speaking up. "Historical fact, based on my initial knowledge means the factual account of past events where it answers the very basic question, "What happened?" Yet beyond merely listing the events in chronological order, historians try to discover why events happened, what circumstances contributed to their cause, what subsequent effects they had, and how they were interpreted and all these were carefully tested in accordance with historical methods," I answered and he nods, smiling. "Very good, Ms. Ramirez. Your answer was close to the definition I prepared. You may take your seat now," he smiled and so I smiled back while

Don't get me wrong, I loved them both, but my goodness, could those two be difficult at times. It probably doesn't help that I am anal retentive and wanted to get the historical facts "just right," even if I only wrote two sentences about a certain period in history.
