I just roll my eyes and he continues, “But thanks to that, my eyes fell on this poor soul who is trying to find a book for English class to do her essay on, you have to hear their assignment, it’s so interesting. I am so eager for our English class; they have so many cool assignments like these. So apparently you have to find a story from the classics, like duh, you have to. I mean that’s why they are called classic.”

Half a month later, in the middle of the night, my phone buzzed with a message. It was from Lex. [Audrey, I'm sorry.] I stared at it for a moment, then put the phone down. I didn't reply. Our story had ended long ago. I closed that chapter. From now on, our lives will go their own way—like two roads that'll never cross again.

I mean, who wants to read a story about an introvert finally achieving her dream to escape reality and have something magical to her life? Wow, that sounds adventurous. How awesome is that to finally escape reality? I’d probably read it. Of course, I’ll read it! I want to live in my imaginations and I can relate to the main character! If that’s the case, then I’ll make my story count! I just hope that the drastic change won’t come sooner. I have to build that rising action. Train like the karate kid or some shit just to look badass. Ok. That’s decided then. I closed my eyes and smiled in content. Happy with the newfound motivation.

I was still a permanent fixture but my situation was a lot better. This is the story of us and I was just trying to give a background if you don't like it, I am sorry, I can't promise I will try to be less blunt or jaded or whatever you think I am but if this story is going to be great, I need to tell it in the way that will be best. And I feel that the way for that to happen is for me to freely express myself. This story will be told from my angle but you get to see into Alyssa mind too. You might like what you will see, you might not, but all I ask is for you to keep an open mind... Sound ominous right but I just find words to roll and it might all be not up to the standards but I will try

I hope readers feel that too. I also want to say sorry if sometimes English is not perfect. I try my best, I really do. Sometimes I think, “Maybe readers will not understand,” but I hope you can feel emotion. Emotion is more important than grammar. Every word I write, I try to put my feeling, my heart, my imagination. Some sentences maybe not smooth, some words maybe wrong, but I hope you understand my love for story, my love for characters, my love for readers.

I want you to know that I am happy that there's someone reading my story, even though there are many loopholes and such… This is the first story that I've created and I'm h I'm happy that I got this far! I'm happy to say that I would release more stories but I can assure you that I will do my best to improve my work! Also, I have English and Filipino stories so feel free to search for them! He punched the locker then stormed off. I know he needed my touch because I needed his just as much but I needed more than just his body. I know I'm getting greedier every day that passed but he needed to give me all of him or nothing at all. The next three periods I made it through in a haze. In English we just finished Romeo and Juliet and now needed to write an entire paper about it. I scoffed at the ridiculousness of it though. We read little excerpts and the teacher did nothing but translate it from old English. There was no deeper meaning given about the story.

In the cafeteria, Dexter opened our chat with a strange, distracted look on his face. "Did you get to the hotel? Have you eaten?" He hit send, but the message bounced back as undeliverable. He couldn't believe it. He backed out and went in again, but no matter how many times he tried, it was the same thing. A colleague ribbed him. "Well, well. Even our resident genius gets blocked sometimes. "Can't say I blame her, though. Look at this. She sends you all those messages, and you reply with one word. Who'd put up with that?"
