Taking the book off the shelve I may just find what I wanted to know here. I take a glass of bourbon and go sit in front of the fireplace. The small fire tongues lapping at the logs. Opening the book, I started reading about black magic but nothing that I could relate to what was happening to me and Brian. I have been reading now for about two days and was tired, so I closed my eyes and, before long, I drifted off. I saw Hailey standing at the door. She is fudging with her hands in front of her, I am sitting in front of the fireplace looking at her as she starts to talk.

I know the story went through a drastic change in plot, and I sincerely apologize for that. Something unexpected happened in my real life, and because of it, I had to step back from writing and romanticizing werewolves. Honestly, I struggled a lot since last year and kept contemplating whether I should just drop this book entirely. However, I felt bad doing so because I’m not used to abandoning stories I already started.

Stumpy chuckled, reached out, and squeezed one of my breasts instead. I yelped and jumped back, wrapping my arms around my chest. “Perfect. Just perfect.” Stumpy handed me the book. “Enjoy. The house can clean itself. While passing through the hallway of the second floor she came across Aleister's room and noticed his door slightly open. She heard his voice narrating something. Curiosity got the best of her so she took a little peek at his activity. What she saw melted her heart. Manticat was tucked in Aleister's bed and the demon himself lay beside the familiar with a book in his hand. He read the story to the little cat monster who listened with drowsy eyes meowing a comment once in a while.
