Sinful Virtues

Sinful Virtues

"It’s a homecoming." As they began to gear up, the word count of their journey continued to climb, much like the body count in the streets above. They were no longer running. They were hunting. And the Russians were about to find out that a Moretti with nothing to lose was the most dangerous creature in the world.

The Alpha Kingpin's Fixation: Auctioned To The Enemy

The Alpha Kingpin's Fixation: Auctioned To The Enemy

“It’s... intoxicating.” I swallow hard, trying to quiet the terror that licks at my insides. This is a game to him, but one with stakes that are all too high. I dart behind the towering bookshelf, my breath coming in short, silent gasps. The logical part of my mind is calculating the seconds, the distance, but the primal part is submerged in the thrill, the danger, and a dark delight. “Anya,” Bastien’s voice rumbles through the room, a velvet caress that’s threaded with iron. “This game you’re playing, do you know how it ends?”

KLH
This author truly never misses! Easily one of my top 3 favorites artists on here. Every story is captivating and well written from beginning to end. I hope you’ll be back on here & writing new stories soon & that everything’s ok, J Tarr. As always, nicely done! Anxious for what’s to come :)

As usual JT, is a brilliant writing- This I was waiting for. It would be nice to get a description on what the leads look like also. Less narration of the scene & feelings & more dialogue! The leads rarely interact or even converse! I hope it picks up it’s pace as it’s dragging a bit.

Once Rejected, Twice Accepted

Once Rejected, Twice Accepted

This was a dangerous game, one where a single mistake could cost me my life. As I moved through the shadows, I saw her pause, her head tilting slightly as if she sensed something amiss. I froze, holding my breath, willing myself to blend into the surroundings. She scanned the area, her eyes sharp and suspicious, but thankfully, she didn't spot me. I could feel the sweat trickling down my back, the tension almost unbearable. The silence was thick, broken only by the distant call of a bird and the rustling leaves.

Dangerous Arrangement

Dangerous Arrangement

Hawthorne’s way of showing his courage to his enemy. "Tell Dominic that Kinsley Hawthorne is here," Mr. Hawthorne said authoritatively. The men exchanged glances briefly, then one of them nodded and walked into the lobby. Jasmine stayed close to Mr. Hawthorne, while Theodore remained vigilant, observing their surroundings. A few minutes later, the man who had spoken with the receptionist returned to Mr. Hawthorne. "Mr. Merrick is waiting in his office. Follow me." The man led them to the elevator, followed by Mr. Hawthorne, Jasmine, and Theodore. As the elevator doors closed, Jasmine felt uneasy. She tried to avoid the gaze of the man standing next to Mr. Hawthorne, whose glances toward her

Alpha Xavier's Rogue Luna

Alpha Xavier's Rogue Luna

Four of our men were already dead but there was still a chance for the rest of us to get out of this hellhole of a game. And we did. After the second puzzle, we got to the third and most dangerous one, pelting with burning sulfur. We had no idea where it was coming from but it kept raining down on us and somehow, we were able to dodge it, not until one of the men got pelted with it. I didn't think I was going to forget his screams of help. I was going to be scared by it. We couldn't stop to watch or rescue him but we could smell the burning of fresh skin and the cry of intense pain while running for our lives.

His Most Dangerous Addiction

His Most Dangerous Addiction

“She doesn’t stay in the shadows like the others. People who’ve seen her say she’s… different.” “Different how?” He hesitated. “Unpredictable. Dangerous.” I let out a quiet breath, finally taking a sip of my drink. “Everyone is dangerous,” I said. “They just need the right reason.” “She might be that reason.” I closed the folder again, this time slower. “Get me everything on her.” “Already working on it.” “Good.” He nodded once before leaving the room, the door shutting softly behind him. Silence returned. But it didn’t feel the same anymore.

Deadly Game

Deadly Game

“His scanner is calibrated to the ambient temperature of the wet concrete. If you drop low, the cold water of the puddle will mask your thermal signature for exactly two seconds before his display recalibrates. The guard on your right is off-balance. He’s putting too much weight on his right heel to avoid slipping in the clay.” A slow, chilling wave of absolute clarity washed over my mind. The panic, the tears, the desperate wife who had begged him to live in that closet —all of it vanished, replaced by the cold, calculating void of the Ghost. "Which one has the radio?" I whispered under my breath, making it look like a quiet, desperate prayer to the men in front of me.

My Stepbrother, My Mate

My Stepbrother, My Mate

*****Xavier****** “Kill him.” Henry’s eyes widened in fear as Diego’s command echoed through the room. The tension was palpable as we all waited to see how this deadly game would end. I clenched my fist, ready to pouch at a moment’s notice, my heart pounding with a mix of fear and determination. This was a dangerous game we were playing, but I was not about to back down now.

Dangerous Game

Dangerous Game

Meeting Dante. Life events, big and smalI, that'd shaped me into who and where I was today. How many more of those did I have left, if any? Pressure squeezed the oxygen from my lungs. Get down. But I couldn't. Thud. Thud. Thud. He was here. The last thud finally kicked my fight or flight into high gear. My body jerked, a gasp of life in the face of death, but it was too late. The cold metal of a gun pressed against the underside of my chin.

Dangerous Game- Love in the Strangest Place

Dangerous Game- Love in the Strangest Place

He was toying with them both, a spider spinning strands around its prey. Elias's head spun around, his eyes scanning the darkness with a ferocity that chilled Gloria's blood. She strained against a massive oak tree, her breath held, her heart wailing in her chest. Elias was coming, not towards her, but in a wide circle around the clearing, searching. He was a trained man, and she was a scared child in the dark.
