A Key to the CEO's Heart

A Key to the CEO's Heart

and so, only to Daniella, I’ll be frank and admit it, “I’m scared of ghosts.” Daniella chuckles, it seems like she isn’t afraid of ghosts. She mentions, “Actually they are not that scary.” Ugh, “They are not scary?” Excuse me? Are you kidding me? Have you watched The Conjuring? I scoff, “They scared the shit out of me! And it was just in the movies! Who knows what happens if I see them in real life!” “Well not the real ones!” Daniella mentions, “Those in the haunted house are fake, they are humans, or maybe just puppets on mechanisms! They aren’t that scary!”

Strange short stories

They continued their piracy and made the Spanish pirate islands their home. The Red Captain continued as a notorious pirate who gave birth to a long tradition of the pirate family, The Ghost Pirates. They were called ghosts because in one of his forays, Red encountered a prominent mage who was making his journey to study the magic of the wild continent. He was a difficult opponent for the pirates, but as they were more, they ended up beating the peaceful travelers and the mage. Many pirates died that day, but the reward was invaluable. Red found a camouflage spell that once used the spell would be passed from parent to child. The spell was not yet complete and since Red had just slit the mag

Blue Moon Bed & Breakfast

As Greta tried to talk herself out of walking across, she stepped up to the edge of the water while she looked off distantly towards that island and the mystery it held. The moment broke for her when Eric’s hand came to rest on her elbow, pulling her back to reality and away from the haunting scene. “Let’s get this on record. I think we now know there’s more than just a rumour of a ghost. We have proof that there’s at least one spirit and hints at a few untold stories. Let’s go get warm and form a real game plan.” With a frustrated groan Greta followed the tall man back to the Inn on the other side of town where warmth and a laptop welcomed them.

Hello, so I just finish the 1st chapter, honestly, I think you introduced too many characters in the first chapter, why don't you focus on the MC and the husband and wife first. You can introduce the other staffs later when they play a role in the chapter. Good luck!

I love the way you tell us about all the different people that are going to be in the book. I like how each chapter is about one set of characters and how they are part of the whole tapestry of the story. Love that there's a Boggart in your book, they really are very mischievous but don't mean harm.

Fictitious Reality

Fictitious Reality

She had been very confused by Wrick and Myra’s strange behavior. Sia contemplated for a minute if she should tell her the whole truth. She was dying to share everything with someone, but at the same time, she didn’t want to risk her life. Choosing a middle path, she said, “I saw more dreams.” “More dreams, that is it.” “Hmmm….about that green-eyed man.” “Do you think he is real, Sia?” “I don’t know. He seems too good to be real.” “Hmm…” Mia’s pager lit up with a message distracting us from the conversation.

The Haciendero

The Haciendero

Aslan, despite his age at the time, was still reeling in young women eager for some kind of “experience.” But she had to admit, the mention of the manananggal earlier had sent chills down her spine. It reminded her of an old story she’d heard as a child. During gatherings and celebrations in the hacienda, the staff would tell tales about a woman who lived near the river, close to the waterfall. Supposedly, her body would split in half, sprouting wings, and she would hunt at night. It’s ridiculous. In her world of science and medicine, stories like that didn’t hold any weight. Still, it didn’t hurt to believe just a little—at least enough to make sure she didn’t end up as prey to some mananan

Aina: mated to 7 Alphas

Aina pov: It has Been almost a month since I had the scary encounter with a ghost at the River Elbe, this ghost claimed to be my mother. I don't have the gut to tell my aunt Ella about the encounter. I know she will ask me why I visited the river Elbe. I could still recall having a dream about the same ghost lady that night when I was sleeping. In this dream, she was clothed in normal clothes and her skin was fresh without any scars or wounds.

Werewolf Academy

“Never mind that. What happened back there, in the water? I thought you could swim?” “I can. It was a ghost.” Nate gapes at me. “You’re telling me a ghost tried to drown you?” “Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying,” I frown, sinking into a sitting position on the edge of the bed. “And no, I’ve never seen this ghost before.” Silence stretches for a moment, before Celeste asks, “After Sally attacked you, another one comes for you out of nowhere? One you’ve never seen. Bit odd, don’t you think?”

The Third Room [MxM]

The Third Room [MxM]

"You're hiding something, and I respect that. I also hope it's murder. I like murder. Keeps things spicy." Noah raised an eyebrow. "You always talk like that?" "Only when I like someone. When I don't, I'm worse." A pause. The radiator groaned. "I sat near the back," Noah offered, as if that explained everything. Emrys nodded. "Where the ghosts sit." Noah tilted his head. "Campus has ghosts," Emrys said matter-of-factly. "Not real ones. Well — maybe. But the other kind. People who show up, hover, vanish. Always a story. Always something weird behind the eyes."
