Libia admitted, her eyes lighting up at the thought of him.
“I see,” Natalia replied, forcing a smile. She knew exactly where this was heading; it wasn’t the first time Libia had let herself get carried away by false hopes.
“Yeah, I know I’m being foolish,” Libia acknowledged. “But I feel like this is different. And if it doesn’t work out, I’ll just let things flow.”
“Romance is good,” Natalia said. “How are your therapy sessions going?”
“Fine, everything’s in order,” Libia explained, though she knew that was far from the truth.
