Anyways, I stood in front of the mirror gawking at myself. My eyes, red and swollen, appeared lifeless with dark circles prominent under them, a result of bawling my eyes out and due to lack of sleep. Dry tears stained my cheeks, my unkempt hair sticking all over my sweaty skin. The pale skin of my neck was covered with hickeys which had turned black and blue by now. My busted lips with blood clouted on them. My state didn't disappoint my anticipation. As expected, I look horrible. My brutalized disheveled appearance resembled a homeless person.

Opening the bedroom door I see my beautiful mate lying on the bed fast asleep so I quietly take my shoes off and climb onto the bed behind her, as I'm about to snuggle into her back and hold her she wakes up and starts to jump away, "Please don't," I say tiredly She turns to look at me and must-see how tired I look, the scowl is quickly replaced with worry "Is everything ok?" "Well no, not really, I can't get hold of the pack and Lanna just had a vision, The wars started and there's nothing I can do and I'm soo tired," I say yawning.

I was shocked at his request, to be honest it confused me. If he believed me then why would he want to make a bet, knowing he would risk the chance of being wrong? The idea of a bet wasn’t making any sense to me so I decided to ask him a question instead. “Why do you want to make a bet? If you believe me, which you said you did, why the bet?” I continued to look at his face so I could read his facial expressions. People always gave away so much in non-verbal communication. It had never occurred to me that he might have had an ulterior motive to the bet. I waited for his response quietly not realizing that we were at a stop light.

I joked and we chuckled. "What are we doing the rest of the day?" Marissa asked me. "I'm not sure since I don't have to work. Any ideas?" I asked our friends. "We could go swimming at the river." Vander suggested. "It's too cold." Eve said. "We could go to the mall." Eve suggested but the rest of us were sick of the mall. " A movie?" Finn asked. "There's nothing good playing." I said. "Too bad there isn't a game today." Vander said.

"Close your eyes, breathe deeply." I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. This is ridiculous. "Again," Malcome instructed. I took another deep breath. "Do you feel it?" He asked. "The only thing I feel is the ice melting through my pants." I heard Adam chuckle and Malcom gave a disgruntled sigh. "You're supposed to feel her." he said. "Feel your inner wolf." Her? I shook my head. "I'm not feeling anyone." "It's because you're not taking this seriously," Malcom said pointedly.

“But it wasn’t what I thought it was. I was just imagining it, and I almost killed my brother because of my inability to determine what’s real and not. What’s wrong with me?” Nothing. “You know what my mom said right before she…” I couldn’t finish that thought. I abandoned that idea. “She said I wasn’t a Foreseer. And that we weren’t actually imprinted, and it was all a trick.” That time, Nathan growled, but I ignored it. “And I don’t know if she’s right or not. My reality seems to be all mixed up right now, and there is no way for me to know what's real and what isn’t. What am I supposed to do?”

Am I unique? HENRY Staring at her playing with the water, I felt a connection. An impalpable one I couldn't fathom. Why do I have to be this attracted to her? Everything she does makes me smile. Slowly, I walked towards her but she didn't even notice. I bent down to her level and I smiled seeing her play with the water happily. She seems so engrossed in it. Subconsciously, I lowered my head and slowly, it moved towards her. I was being controlled as my head moved and soon, my lips were only an inch apart from hers. I leaned down and that's when she turned to me.

I had to admit, my excitement wasn’t well hidden either. “We need to test this out more. You need to control it better.” “How do you propose we do this?” I ask, voice full of skepticism. “Wouldn’t you like to surprise Cecilia with something on Monday? What if you think of something to conjure and give to her?” “Wait.” I say. I have heard previously that with every action, there’s a re-action, meaning, “What if the things I conjure aren’t that real or they disappear?” Axel bends down and investigates the now smashed plate of eggs and bacon.
