It gave off the aura of darkness and malice, and despite the fact that he had already obtained it, the book caused his wolf to awaken and roar loudly. The werewolf king couldn’t help but to retreat from it instinctively, terrified of what the books would do to him. However, despite his panic, his fear did not last long, for a moment later, the book started glowing, turning itself into the purest form of light that he had ever seen.

But the book is filled with shadowy creatures and monsters that feed on humans and animals alike. Letting out another loud sigh, I reached for the book and pulled it out. Even though I had wanted to drop this book and find another one that would be more accurate, I wasn't able to find another book back at home. Maybe there might be some in this castle? With the book in my hands, I walked over to the bed and sat at the edge. Placing my hand flat against the hard cover of the book, I traced it from top to bottom, wondering if I should continue reading or just stop filling my head with scary stories.

I wanted to read it at that moment but something was telling me otherwise. I badly wanted to read it but there was no way I could do that, it was just too complicated. Calming my nervous self I opened the book hoping he wouldn't see something that would scare the hell out of me. But who was I for the moon goddess that listened to my prayers? She had never listened to my prayers and I was sure of it. The first sentence I saw inside the book was no less horrifying than the first one. I would say it was on the same level and I was even more scared when I saw it.

She stared at me with her ice gaze and I stiffened. "There it was me sneaking out to go and read some blight and weird book at night and even at the brightest hour of the day." "To read porn?" "Holy crap, I was barely nine! It's horror books with some bats and witches and all the weirdest things they could describe." "But not this creature." "Yes, exactly not this." "I could remember reading about Langsuir," "Never heard of that," I said sitting my derriere on the table. I have never had an intense yet intriguing conversation with someone before and I could see Ariadne loosening up a bit. That made it a lot harder for me to spill out what I intended.
