Really Scary Books Novels & Stories

Could it be we landed ourselves right amid werewolves? Frantic, I rush and grab as many books as I can. I sit in the corner and just with the first chapter of the first book I open, my fears are proven to be correct!

Never did I ever think it would happen. ‘Do you want to try what you've read in books?’ Isis asked, as my heart raced crazily in my chest. “They're just books, Isis.” I whispered, with tears gathering at the corner of my eyes. That was it! I was going to die. The books always said the secret to the three-headed beast with different eyes was simple. You only had to pretend you weren't scared and scratch them behind their ears, but many failed due to their terrifying nature. The moment you ran, you were dead, as they wouldn't wait to consume you bone to pieces.

After two days of high temperatures and intense boredom, he remembered the three books. Sam pulled out the one with the Mummy on the cover, because it looked the most innocuous. It was entitled the Ninth Pan Book of Horror Stories. He wasn’t the least bit prepared for what he found inside. The first three stories involved emasculation, murder and burning at the stake. In his fevered state Sam felt he was not only watching the characters’ suffering, he was experiencing it along with them. He flung the book at the wall and then hid it again, wishing he could burn it like Jinnot, the young girl in the third story who was burned alive.

I shrugged, putting my pillow on my lap and placing on it the book I had snagged off the bookshelf. “You read horrors?” Liam asked, eying my book. “Yes, I read and love them.” I couldn’t hide my smile. “Do you?” “Me?” He blinked, pointing to himself. “Who else? There’s no one here but us.” I pointed out, causing his cheeks to get a pink glow, and my smile grew. Aww, he was really adorable. “No, I don’t. I don’t mix well with horror of any kind— movies, books, or games— because I’m a scaredy cat. I can’t even stand scary campfire stories.”

I asked her curiously as I sat comfortably on her couch and the three of them sat on the big one adjacent to mine. "Well, I believe that there's nothing to be scared of. The ghosts, vampires, witches, and werewolves are just in the books. Right? Fiction. Not real." My oblivious girlfriend explained, and that made the three of us, supermarket beings, look at each other. If you just knew, Pryce. None of us here is purely human. "Uh, yeah, yeah. They're just in the books. Horror books. They are a product of one's creative minds… and to scare people." Sander agreed with her best friend. Now, I really don't know how we will tell Pryce about the whole truth.

" She said and I rolled my eyes slightly. “What do you think I am, 5?? I can't get scared from the letters in the pages of a book plus the real world is a lot scarier than any content that can be found in a book." I said and at that moment I thought about what nearly happened to me some days back. Almost getting raped is like a scene straight out from a horror movie, it's by far the most scariest thing I could think of and I am glad I was able to come out of it with only a bitter taste in my mouth and not an actual emotional scar that would last forever...

Chapter 42 Nightmare An hour has passed ever since she arrived at the library reading the pile of books she had randomly chosen, and half of it was strangely about werewolves while the other half is about some kind of diary. For the past hour, she realized that this pile of books was either true or was here just for fun. But knowing Nicholas as the uptight boss to others and the big puppy to her, she can’t think that this is some type of joke. The things written inside sounded so credible after some of them wrote down facts that are known to humans. And if it's not it, the one who wrote this must have been trolling.

I couldn't help it, it was too terrifying and looked disgusting, especially with my ability to create a vivid imagination just by reading a book which is why I could imagine those gore scenes and blood scenes. I was warned by the author that the chapter contains bloody scenes, gore, and other scenes that aren't suitable for those who are eating but I didn't mind those warnings and happened to eat cookies while reading the content. I almost vomited everything that I ate that time because of the content that I read. It made me lose my appetite which made me lose two pounds that day but I still read it anyway out of curiosity, enduring my goosebumps. That was the reason why I concluded that the
