Rebel Marie Lu Novels & Stories

She asked me while stroking my cheek gently. I smiled and closed my eyes, savoring the feeling of her warm touch. “Now, all you need to concentrate on is Madeline, yourself, and Nathan, my love. You guys did a marvelous job in healing all of us. Don’t look at these bandages. I am sure that our wounds will be healed by tomorrow morning.” She continued soothing my restless heart. I believed every word coming out of her mouth. “But Sylvester is right. We need to keep this a secret, Hailley. This is something we have never heard and never experienced. Marie is a Luna wolf. Yet she responded to their commands.” Rita said to my mother worriedly.

Everyone froze. Even the moon itself seemed to hesitate. She stepped down, her eyes locking on me. “You are the Luna Reborn. The last of the blood star. And yet you fight like a child.” I steadied my stance, breathing hard. “I fight like someone who refuses to bow.” Her lips curved. “We don’t want your bow, Elara. We want your rise. Come willingly, and I will show you how to break your chains. How to become what you were meant to be.”

Learning from the previous experience where the investigator he hired did a mediocre job despite the low f*e, Luke now opted for a more skilled professional. While awaiting the results, he didn't sit idly by. Luke embarked on a retaliatory scheme against Mariko. He sent a final letter to Mariko, along with half of the marriage certificate Luke was tricked into signing. With his own hands, he tore it apart, feeling a sense of relief. How dare she play such tricks on him once and now resort to other deceptions? It made Luke feel like he was releasing the monster he had been holding back.

She mouthed numbers, memorized the patterns of the men's boots, the timing of the lighter flicks at the far corner. Liza, suddenly small, looked up. “Mommy, will Uncle Charles find us?” she asked, her voice a thread. “We will make him find us,” Fiona said, and her jaw was a hinge of iron. “I hear their voices. Remember your teacher's song, okay? Sing it. Sing anything.” The camera blinked; a live strip fed into Marie's phone. Marie watched the presence of her revenge, like a living thing. She felt the same electric thrill that had driven her to plan: control. She wanted the family to ache. She wanted to be the ache.

The sheer force of the surge sent my own body plunging back… Marie Pov "Wait, we have to help my brother and Ana" Marie said. They had run off like Ana told them but she was done running. She wouldn't leave her brother alone to fight those creatures. "No crazy girl we need to find an exit like we were told" Lily said back panting hard. Marie was growing irritated by the cowardly large girl. She didn't care what she was told. Seb would never leave her and she would never leave him.

Louisa spotted us, waved like a pageant queen, and marched over “Well, well, well. If it isn’t the runaway heiress and her fallen fashion friend.” “Louisa,” I said dryly. “Still collecting enemies like vintage bags, I see.” She pulled out a chair without asking. “I collect many things, Including truths like the one about Rebel and Daniel’s inevitable implosion.” Rebel didn’t blink “And here I thought you only collected delusions.” Louisa smiled. “You think this little fairy tale will last? With your temper and his?” “You’re right,” Rebel said, sipping her coffee. “I should trade him in for a man who talks like a Bond girl and plots like a snake in pearls.”

Her mouth opened, but no sound came; still, something crawled under my skin, seeing it. “Break her,” I said. Fintan did. One gesture, one word, and her spine snapped clean. She crumpled. Tarl exhaled. “By the moon—” “Eyes forward,” I cut in. “We’re not sightseeing.” We pushed deeper. The swamp heard us coming and didn’t care. The trees thinned, and Delphine’s shack appeared. And Marie waited in the yard. She wasn’t fully beautiful and didn’t need to be. Rage made her tall. Her skin carried the shine of borrowed power. A shard of mirror hung from a cord at her throat; she touched it even as she looked us over like we were ingredients.

She dropped to her knees and began stabbing Baron brutally and repeatedly in his head and each part of his body that her knife laid on. “Oh moon goddess,” Lina cried in terror. She gave him the last stab in his temple and withdrew the knife. She licked her lips which had blood on them like the rest of her body. “This should be a reminder not to mess with me. You've just suffered a rejection…but the next time would be death” Marie sneered and stood up to get feet. “Anyway, happy birthday, Lina… I hope you loved my gifts” Marie cackled and walked away from there, leaving all of them shocked.

I lifted my head and looked at them steadily "That death would be far kinder than letting Alexander find out that I'm carrying his children." I took a deep breath before continuing in a frighteningly serious tone "These are my children." "I won't let anyone come near them or harm them, whether it's the Lycan King or the Black Magic Devil." I straightened my back proudly "I am Maria, the forgotten hybrid who was sentenced to death before she was even born." My hand remained protectively over my stomach "And I will make sure my children have a beautiful life... far away from all of this hell."

Mr Jacob says in his usual baritone voice. “You heard him, sit down.” I snapped at Carla. She hissed and brushed past me to take a seat. “Girls, what's going on between you two? Is it true that your sister was rejected because of you?” Mr Jacob inquired, directing the question at Carla. Carla passed me a glare and switched on a smile after, “Yes. Because she is not fit to be the Luna of this pack, she is as weak and useless as her mother—” “You're not just a bitch but a hater!!” I fired at her.
