Nathan’s P.O.V.

“What happened, Nathan? You and Graham suddenly blacked out.” Mom asked me worriedly while giving me a glass of water.

I was now sitting on a chair with Graham beside me on the other chair outside the room where Madeline was now sleeping soundly.

I took the glass and emptied the whole glass in one go. My throat was completely parched, but I was still shaken by the glimpses of what Madeline saw or experienced when she put her hand on that palm print.

“Did Bonny say something about any spell or witchcraft there?” I asked her calmly after finishing drinking water.

“No, she didn’t find anything. The whole area is still protected by the same spell that she cast last night. No person with any kind of magic entered in that area. She also investigated that tree. She admitted that someone with a strong aura was there, but not with magic.” Mom told me and I just nodded.

I looked at Graham, who was still looking sickly pale.
