Logan carefully put me down, then charged at Niles and they started fighting fiercely. My back hurt so much that I gasped for air. But just then, a bold idea flashed through my mind. Looking at Sophie acting crazy, I knew we couldn't keep the rebirth secret any longer. But more than the rebirth, I needed to create a role for myself. One that could guide Logan to the path I wanted. Logan and Niles were natural enemies. They fought many times. No one had won yet. While Logan was distracted, Niles grabbed Sophie and ran.

"Roxy, you did great. I'll take our daughter for her checkup later." Jensen Highmore's voice rang gently beside me as he held our baby in his arms, his expression soft and tender.
