Tears welled up in my eyes as I recounted the tale of my rebirth, the intervention of a vengeful soul seeking justice for her daughter's untimely demise. I explained how I was given another chance, my spirit reborn within a new vessel, with the memories of my past intact.

The Rebirth Moon split open like an egg, pouring rivers of liquid starlight across the land. Where it touched the dead, new life sprang forth—flowers blossomed from charred soil, wolves rose from their ashes, their wounds fading as their fur shimmered with streaks of gold and black.

Cruella said out loud and China's eyes widened. “How dare you?!” She yelled but Cruella didn't flinch or even show any sign of being intimidated. If it was then, she would've been trembling but not anymore. That weak and useless girl is dead. She died in that fire and this reborn Cruella won't take shit from anyone. “If I were you, I would break up with her. She doesn't deserve the title of Luna. Even a weak Gamma could do a better job.” Cruella said and for a split second, she saw his lips move to the side before returning to its normal position. He almost smiled.

"What you should focus on is recovering. Do you have any family? Maybe I can help find them." I gave him my parents' names. As it turned out, they had learned about the zombie outbreak early on, gathered an enormous stockpile of supplies, and joined the base's upper ranks. They were thriving, busy consolidating their power in this new world—too busy to care about whether I was alive or dead. As for Oliver… I had a sneaking suspicion he, too, had been reborn and remembered his past life. Given a second chance, he was probably basking in Lina's presence, cherishing every moment with her.

It had no face, no voice, but its presence was like a whisper in my soul: "Reborn, but not destroyed." Samantha and Giselle gasped while some looked confused. "Isn't it the same as Samantha and Wanda?" Zee asked, making Samantha shake her head. "I can help the soul of someone who is dead to reincarnate, and it's different from revival. I can give a new life to the soul of a dead being." Samantha huffed and glared at her stupid mate.

Julian shoved her away, his eyes still locked on me. A look of desperation filled his eyes. "Elara..." his voice became low, pleading. "I really know I was wrong. Can't you just give me one more chance? This life, I swear I'll do right by you. I won't make the same mistakes again." My heart skipped a beat. This life? Did he just say "this life"? Was Julian... also reborn? Did he remember everything from our past life? As I stood there, stunned, the family's security team arrived. They quickly subdued Julian and his men.
