And before I could understand the real meaning, the floor beneath my feet broke, like glass from an old dream, and I didn't scream, just accepted the fact as Naomi and I embraced and accepted our future, because in the end, we would no longer be us, but the new creature.

It was neither the angel nor the devil since it carried itself with an air of superiority befitting neither. I am so perplexed. There is no doubt that I have passed on, but what are these secular stories? Is it inevitable that people would get hurt and die in this kind of world? Rose made a frowning face and made an effort to open her eyes. She appeared to be in a scissor lock since she could not move a single muscle. Since I have already passed away, it should come as no surprise that I am unable to move. But something did not feel quite right, and I think I might be able to move if I give a little bit of movement a try.

He questioned, His mind raced with questions, but he remained attentive, waiting for her to explain. Fiona took a deep breath, her eyes searching Scott's face for any signs of judgment. "A rebirth is someone who has lived multiple lives, reincarnating into different bodies throughout history," she explained. "In each lifetime, a rebirth retains the memories and experiences of her past lives, but their physical appearance and identity change."

“The throat ache, like I said, came from the drowning. The dreams and backflashes you must have had, all of them are part of it. As painful as it was, and I’m honestly sorry for that, it had to happen for you to fully be reborn.” I’m sure at this point, my eyes are ready to bulge out of my sockets. “Reborn?” I question with a gasp escaping my lips. In my mind, it felt like those weren’t just visions, but that there was much more time that had passed. Everything felt different and shifted. But never ever would I have thought about it as being reborn. More like a vision maybe.

“After that, Chairman Smith came to me, asking how he could stop the curse.” “A-And?” Chairwoman pressed, her voice tinged with nervous anticipation. The Shaman’s hand gently touched a small baby doll draped in a white cloth nearby. “The General told him that to break the curse, he had to resolve the resentment of the unborn child. The only way was to adopt an orphaned girl and raise her well. Only then would his fortune return.” I felt a chill run through me. My body grew cold, and I clutched my hands tightly beneath the table, trying to process the revelation.

It might not have many if at all any instances of our lead couple in their tale but if you wish to explore a similar (yet oh so complicated) story in this universe, I will encourage you to tune in! I have little patience for suspense these days and will tell you the title outright: "Leaving the Ruthless Alpha: Always With You" It will be part of the Rebirth Series (as I have titled it) and I will be glad to see your reactions to it.
