Fallen for the Dark
Every nerve ignited, every heartbeat lost to the fire between us.
We broke apart just enough to breathe, foreheads pressed together, hearts racing. “This is reckless,” I whispered.
“Reckless is the only way to survive this,” he murmured. “And some flames… aren’t meant to be tamed. They are meant to burn, consume, and leave nothing behind.”
The warehouse seemed to shrink around us, shadows pressing close, danger lurking in every corner. And I realized, terrifyingly and thrillingly, that I didn’t care. I had already crossed the line. I had already surrendered.
