My mom had been captured by rogues for the sole purpose of using and abusing the red wolf’s power, and Grey was determined that it would never happen again. ‘I can’t make any promises.’ Grey replied. I couldn’t help but roll my eyes. My wolf was unique. Although mostly black, his paws and a stripe on his chest were a dark red color. The color was so dark it almost looked black, but when the sun shined off of it, you could see the red hue to it. Grey liked to joke that it made him more powerful. I was certain it made him more of a jackass.

Cillian Red fucking wolves? Wolves without a pack. Worse than the rouges. While rogues usually don’t have governing laws to maintain an orderly pack, they do have rogue alphas who keep them together. Red wolves on the other hand do not believe in having leaders and following rules. They simply move from one place to another and go around in a ravaging spree everywhere and anywhere as part of their daily fun. Before I get down the stairs, I mind-link the six wolf bloods coming out of their rooms to follow me and Gunner.

I don’t think Petrov would be so stupid to try and kill me in a house full of guests. Dressed for the second time I opened the adjoining door and slipped into her room. She still slept, but when I touched her shoulder she started awake - searching for the wolf. “He’s not here.” I said. “Oh? I thought you didn’t have a dog?” she said sitting up, blinking at me. “It’s not a dog, he’s a wolf. A red wolf.” I said.

The tearing in my chest grew more intense with every wave. After what felt like an eternity, the villa door opened again. Vanessa emerged alone. She had changed into a black dress and was holding the leashes of two enormous black dogs. They were war hounds, unique to the Red Fang pack, bred specifically for hunting and killing their enemies. Each one stood as tall as a grown male wolf. "Freya," Vanessa cooed. "Still here? You're so obedient. No wonder our Alpha just can't bring himself to truly hate you."

I let out a low, mournful howl, the sound carrying through the woods like an echo of my inner turmoil. As I continued to howl, I heard a rustle nearby. Immediately I stood on guard, teeth bared as I turned, but to my surprise, a small red wolf emerged from the underbrush. Its fur was a vibrant shade of red, a stark contrast to the darkened forest green.

Drake looked up and looked at her and saw the questions across our face. "So I have a theory. I believe that we can tell which wolf belongs to which alpha by their eye color when they are in wolf form. The Red Wood pack I think has red eyes while they are in wolf form. The Red Wood pack is one of the larger ones that takes up the most of this territory here and the other larger one I believe is called the Cross River pack and their eyes are blue. There's another pack called The Moonlight pack and I believe their eye color is yellow and lastly The Black Sand pack their eyes are green. "

Is that a red wolf? Blinking, I look again. On the edge of my visible range, a red wolf stalks among other large alphas, so powerful he seems to glow with alpha energy as he draws many of the rogues back towards him. Red wolves are extremely rare. Black, grey, brown, even white wolves are more traditionally seen. Red happens, but maybe you might see one in a generation. In the footage shown during the trial, my mate, Apple, was revealed to be a red wolf with fur only slightly darker than her vibrant hair.

Cheryl's body went skittering across the slick floor and slammed into a wall. Cheryl was stunned for a moment and then got up screaming, "You Bitch!" Her nose was spurting blood, and she was trying to staunch the flow as she yelled for anyone to hear how she had been disrespected by a human. She quickly shifted into a red wolf, snarling with teeth bared. Karen stood her ground, growling back.

alpha Rowan explains to all of us. "Any questions?" Alpha Aiden asks and none of us had any. "Great, I'll leave it to you beta," alpha Aiden says holding alpha Rowan's hand leaving us alone in the room with our beta. "Yesterday you all did a great step in your life, you shifted for the first time, we have two grey wolves and an adorable white one," he says not specifying which one of us is which color. All of my family is dark furred wolf, I don't think I'll be the white one, we take after our parents and mine are black and brown.

"I... I have them. If you don't believe her, I can—" "No!" Tracey screamed, lunging to stop him, but it was too late. The sharp click of the car unlocking sealed her fate. I threw open the trunk. The stench hit me first. Then I saw it—a small, lifeless dog, its body limp and decaying. Puffy. Peter stumbled back, his face white as a sheet. "Tracey... Puffy... why is... why is Puffy here?" The live stream exploded. Comments poured in, furious and relentless:
