Alive. Lylah froze as a pair of molten red eyes emerged from the shadows, glaring—smoke curling from its enormous nostrils… She didn’t need to see more. The silhouette said it all. It was a dragon. A real fucking dragon.

Layana asked quietly, Declan was now shielding her, his comforting scent filling her nose. “It already has,” Kayden said quietly, the four looked up, seeing the huge black dragon Layana had seen in her vision looking down at them, its blazing red gaze glaring at them deeply. “Stay calm…” Kayden whispered. Layana’s heart thrummed loudly as she did her best to stay calm, her eyes homed in on it, seeing the glistening scales move as it opened its mouth, the hugest ball of flame Layana had ever seen erupted from it, coming down towards them faster than the speed of light.

For a dragon, black was an authority color. Their current leader was yellowish color which represented his gold attribute. Roar! Growl! The children watching and sensing the ground trembling every time they took a step forward instinctively pictured a powerful collision as they brazed themselves.

It turned its head in her direction, crimson eyes sparkling like rubies. Smoke billowed from its nostrils as its quiet growl vibrated in Sophia's chest. The dragon attempted to move towards her, but the rattle of thick chains sounded and stopped the large creature's movements. His purple eyes were bright in the night skin. I almost screamed as a deep voice entered my mind.

He looks like the same age as me. “It’s not for you to know.” Black Dragon answered pointing his gun to him. I gripped my own gun, ready to use it if needed. Big Boss is about to move while the woman positioned to run. Black Dragon spoke. “Move even an inch and I’ll blow your heads simultaneously.” His voice sounded cold and emotionless. I looked at him and was startled to see his face expressionless. He looked like a professional cold blooded killer. Big Boss and the woman froze. Black Dragon turned to the woman.

“So you’re a dragon, too.” “I am.” She bit her lip, wanting to ask more about that but deciding against it. She wondered how he looked as a dragon. Was he like the big golden one she’d seen? Vikter was clearly a golden dragon, from what they’d said about eye color. Razzy’s eyes were purple. His were gold, and Drayken’s were red. It still weirded her out to think of his red eyes. It was so strange. She nodded and glanced up too.
