THE HEIRESS THEY BURRIED

THE HEIRESS THEY BURRIED

Not to write the ledger. To alter it... Without anyone noticing. Someone had gone to extraordinary lengths to imitate Damien Quinn. And that meant one terrifying thing. The Chancellor wasn't just trying to erase the past. He was rewriting it. The receipt lay in the center of the table. No one touched it. Lucien read it again, slower this time. Montclair Fine Stationers – Los Angeles One bottle of vintage blue-black fountain pen ink. One handcrafted fountain pen nib. One bottle of archival paper preservative.

Return of the Luna Queen

Return of the Luna Queen

A child, that never lived past infancy. My heart broke in sadness at the loss. I had never gotten to know any of Alexanders family, bar Lucille. And now seeing their names so starkly on the page, it was unnerving. So many young lives lost in such a short amount of time. But unlike their mother, and all those human names that had come in the pages before, there was something unusual about the found names written on the page. They were not red, nor were they black. Instead, they were written in a deep purple. The sort of colour you may get when mixing a small amount of black to the bright red of the witched ink.

Great to see a recent update. I’m hesitant to start reading in the event updates stop or becomes irregular. I will re-read the first book to refresh my memory. It was a great book which I throughly enjoyed

I love this story but I wanted her to return to Alexander. It's too heartbreaking. No offense about Landon but I don't see why she needs another mate. I doubt Alexander got a second chance mate after she left.

Married a Secret Billionaire

“Get changed quickly. We’ll check out and leave.” “But this room…” She looked at the torn sheets and blood in worry. Zephyr paused and took the red ink out of the desk drawer to spill it around. Cordelia was even more confused. “Darling, how did you know there’s red ink in the drawer?” “Suites like this usually have them,” he answered nonchalantly. “A bottle of red, black, and blue ink each. Because some people only use ink pens to write.” “How do you know?

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

The CEO’s Regret: My Ex-Wife is the Hidden Tycoon

The CEO’s Regret: My Ex-Wife is the Hidden Tycoon

The pristine sheet of vellum paper lay in the damp clover, its white surface catching the silver starlight. The handwritten text—THE DESK IS VACANT. THE RE-DRAFT WILL BEGIN WHEN THE BANKER RESPONDS—did not shiver or flash with the lavender light of a terminal. The ink was different now; it was a deep, natural sepia that looked like it had been mixed from walnuts and river-water, free from the synthetic polymers of the High Treasury.

Affair With My my Ex's Billionaire Father

Affair With My my Ex's Billionaire Father

Left a streak on my skin. Dark as ink. Darker than blood. No name. No crest. No return. But somehow, it was mine. And I knew, knew, this thing didn’t belong to the house. Didn’t belong to this life. I should’ve woken Milo. He was down the hall. Close enough to call for, far enough not to hear. But I didn’t move. Didn’t speak. I broke the seal with my nail and unfolded the letter inside. The handwriting was elegant. Sharp. Each loop looked like it had been carved, not written. The ink wasn’t black,it was red. Deep burgundy.

"We can either go and get more, or we can print out the top half, which I have almost enough for, and the bottom stacks will be blank, we can cut up regular printer paper or notebook paper. I don't know if it will work if their pros." Jake weighed his options. "I mean, they have no inkling that we even know what's in there so for all we know, Dan was shorting them with fakes." "I suppose that's agreeable, but don't let them count it until they leave." Petrie started popping in fresh ink cartridges into the small printer before plugging in the cords to the laptop.

A Queen Among Tempests

A Queen Among Tempests

she grins. Invidia rises from her chair, pulls a small vile out of her back pocket and holds it up to the candlelight. Inside the vile is a silver liquid, a liquid I presume to be God’s blood, but it looks different…it’s not the vibrant silver I’ve seen the few times I’ve witnessed a God bleed. It’s darker, almost a gunmetal colour. It’s as if the mingling with human DNA, the process of abstracting it or maybe the thousands of years of being separated from the source has diluted its potency or warped it in some way.

Cursed Luna, Rejected Mate

Cursed Luna, Rejected Mate

I said, leaning my hip against the edge of the wood. "Whatever they have in the storage bins will do, Ayla," he said, his fingers tightening around his quill until the split nib groaned against the paper. "The black is nearly gone," I said, reaching forward to nudge the brass inkwell out of the path of his hand before it tipped into his lap. "I'll tell Esther to start on the grey. It holds the damp out better anyway." He let go of the quill, letting it roll across the map until the black fluid smeared over the border trail. He looked at my fingers, then up at the thin braids near my temples.
