Around me, nobody reacted. Nobody else had heard it. The voice was speaking only to me. The Throne remembers you. "I don't understand." The words escaped before I could stop them. Renn looked at me immediately. "What?" But I barely heard him. Because images flooded my mind. A cavern. Silver stars. An ancient throne. A chain wrapped around something hidden beneath it. Then another image appeared. A person. Standing before the throne. Not a king. Not a warrior. A child. A child holding a silver key.

Explosions echo in the background, illuminating the dark sky with bursts of destruction. My breathing quickens, and my chest feels as though a massive weight has been placed upon it. Then the camera shifts, and there he is. Drave. My half-brother, seated on the throne that should be mine, a triumphant smile plastered on his face. He wears my crown, adjusting it on his head as if testing how well it suits him. Pride and satisfaction radiate from him, every word of his speech a direct assault on my honor, on my rightful claim to rule Veridiana.

At the far end stood a throne shaped from bones and black coral. The child floated above it. The false king lowered the Tide Crown onto the throne. “It remembers its first master.” Raiken pushed himself upright. “That throne does not belong to you.” The false king laughed. “No.” The child opened her mouth. A man’s voice came from her body. “It belongs to me.” The red water climbed the steps. Her small shape stretched. Bones lengthened. Silver hair darkened into a river of black. When her feet touched the throne, she was no longer a child.

Kaelen said, giving me his cloak. As we walked I felt like I was seeing ghosts. Every tree and hill reminded me of the past. We got to the coal place just before the sun went down. It was empty and cold. It was better than being outside. Jaxon made a fire. We sat around it not saying much. We were all thinking about what happened at the Amber Palace. "They will look for the crown " Malachi said. "Silas will not stop. He wants to use it to control the wolves."

"It’s where the First Den was actually born. It’s where Dad found the original seed. Thorne is going back to the beginning to end it all." ​Leo looked at his siblings, the broken warrior, the fading light, and the human ghost. It let out a harsh, metallic caw before taking flight, heading toward the north, toward the Rift.

I pulled the blankets up on the bed to keep warm. “You okay?” I asked. He was quieter than normal, which made me slightly uneasy. He nodded, not meeting my eyes. He climbed into bed carefully, pulling me against him, and we fell asleep, anxiety hanging over us about what tomorrow would bring. The next morning, I lay in bed listening to the sound of water pattering against the shower walls as Bryan occupied the bathroom. We had both woken late, and Alpha Prince Stone was due to arrive any minute.

I whisper softly, "the woman of my heart… my one and only love." The words feel strange coming from a child’s mouth, but they’re too heavy to remain unspoken. "I lost you six times," I continue, my voice breaking. "But not this time. I swear on every life I’ve lived—this time, I’ll protect you. I’ll protect Martha. And when I grow up, I’ll reclaim the throne they stole from me. No one will ever hurt us again." The fire pops, and Jane stirs slightly in her sleep, her tiny hand twitching. For a moment, I imagine she heard me.

You disrupted my wedding and kidnapped me, bringing me here so you could feel important and rub it in my face that you killed my family.” Sergio didn’t speak. “You let me believe I was nothing. Then you chained me to your side, gave me knives, maps, riddles... like I was a pawn in some twisted game.” He finally stepped forward. “You are simply here as payment for a debt owed to my family... You were never a pawn I chose.” “Then what am I?” she asked bitterly. He looked at her sadly. “You're the queen that was never meant to rise.” ************************************************** Suddenly, the manor’s alarm pierced the quiet.

I saw the spark of explosion in Sylver’s eyes, but before I could stop him, he faced his father. “Does the throne feel like a game to you?” he growled, the words descending like a slap across Ried’s face. His excited smile instantly faded. “Sylver Thornevale! What are you saying?” “The throne isn’t a place where you play dress-up with your sons! You can’t switch rulers as you please!” Sylver spat, his venom sharper than before. Ried froze, unable to retaliate. Then Sylver scoffed. “Of course, I don’t even blame you. You can’t understand,” he hissed.

He mutters and then turns to run back as the little boy calms down to him ,he pauses turning to him . "This belong to your dad ,the Golden planter with The Madonna pack symbol,this is the other half and I don't know where the other half to make it a whole is , but he ask me to give it to you, perhaps To retrain your steps and Claim the throne"He mutters , handing it over to him as he ran off
