Reflection Of Crescent Episode 1 Novels & Stories

He gripped the broadsword with both hands, the silver flame exploding outward until it formed a massive, sweeping crescent of pure celestial energy. "For my family," Killian roared. He brought the blade down in a devastating vertical arc. The crescent wave of starlight cleaved the grand staircase in two, traveling straight up the marble steps and striking the mirror-faced stranger dead center. A deafening, metallic shriek echoed through the dead zone as the stranger’s silver visage violently cracked from top to bottom. The shifting mirror shattered into a thousand shards of dark glass, revealing nothing but a hollow, swirling void underneath.

She pestered and pleaded and even though I had already prepared to say no right from the moment she offered it, I agreed. We strolled down the narrow forest and though she was oblivious of how still and strangely quiet the forest was, jumping around and fishing out weird-looking leaf that she called ingredients for the herbs. The moon was a crescent one, shining the little light it offered into the still forest. My mind wasn't settled with the way the forest stilled with no sign of even an owl. And as I followed Aurora right behind, I watched my side and back of anything that could try to attack us.

The sound was sharp and quick — like one single snapping breath. The room went completely silent. Not normal classroom silence. Not waiting-for-instructions silence. This was different. It was the kind of silence that happens when everyone feels something they don’t understand. Like the air itself had stopped breathing. I jerked my wrist back and pressed it against my side. I covered it with my other hand, even though the light was already fading. The crescent was still there. Pale silver now. Not glowing as bright. But real. I stared at it, my stomach twisting. It wasn’t just fear. It wasn’t just awe. It was both at once.

The same woman walks down the hall and to my cell. I don’t get a single word out before she raises her hand and a cloud of green smoke fills my vision and everything goes black. — My eyes blink open, the night sky coming into view. Stars shining, but a shade of red coating the sky. My body jolts up. It’s not the red moon yet! It can’t be! I finally look around me, people surrounding me, but no one’s looking at me. No. They’re all turned in one direction, soft chanting leaving their lips.

Aria Pov In six days I shall be destroyed by the crescent moon. I am cuffed with the metal closing round my wrists, feeding off the energy of my wolf. Before me is the Seven Tower Gate, a dark monolith whose ancient power smothers mine. I'm a mutant-an impending bomb-a danger to my pack.

How was I going to find that out? I turned slightly to Damon. His gaze was fixed ahead even though it was a vast emptiness that laid in front of us. His brows were furrowed in concentration. ‘’You know the people of Crescent pack have a silly legend,’’ I began, keeping my tone very light. ‘’There are whispers about the reincarnation of their priestess.’’ If the information shocked him, he did a good job hiding it. ‘’They have too much time on their hands,’’ he muttered.

Vanessa asked curiously. I took out the bracelet from the drawer, intending to show Vanessa, but what unfolded next left me utterly shocked. As I brought the bracelet near her, a brilliant glow emanated from it, illuminating the room with an ethereal light. Vanessa's expression mirrored my astonishment, her eyes widening in disbelief at the unexpected spectacle before us. At that moment, everything seemed to fall into place, the pieces of a puzzle I didn't even know existed coming together in a startling revelation. Vanessa, my dear wife, was the bearer of the moon crescent, the chosen one destined for a path unknown to us.

Alina’s POV I stood before the mirror in my room, my back turned as I slowly pulled down my sleeve. The faint rustle of fabric against skin was the only sound in the stillness. The blouse slipped off one shoulder, exposing the top curve of my back to the mirror. And there it was again, the mark. The crescent. It shimmered faintly like light bouncing on still water, except it wasn’t light, it was something else. Something strange. Something I didn’t ask for.

"When the eclipse hits, they'll be everywhere. Your Pack, your families - they're all in danger." “So you think we are just going to take your word for it?” Ronan asked, narrowing his gaze. Firmly, Luna said, 'No.' She reached into her bag and produced the relic, holding it high. Its glow intensified then, as if to outdo the evening light. The clearing was bathed in an unearthly glow." The Crescent Ridge wolves recoiled slightly, their eyes widening. “What the hell is that?” Ronan demanded.

So I followed Lunessa into her room, where Seraphira was already curled up like a kitten. We slipped under the covers beside her, and for the first time in what felt like lifetimes, I slept without nightmares. When I woke, the sun was up, and I was alone in the room. Lunessa was probably with Shaelith. I stretched, groaning softly, and rubbed my eyes before catching a glimpse of something on my wrist. The crescent mark glowed faintly in the golden light, and I smiled like a fool in love. I moved to the mirror, tilting my head to inspect the mark on my neck, still glowing and real. It felt like a dream, but one I never wanted to wake up from.
