Reflection Of Crescent Episode 1 Novels & Stories

She whispered to her reflection, “He doesn’t own the narrative anymore.” Behind her, Adrian adjusted the camera settings. “You don’t have to be perfect,” he said quietly. “You just have to be real.” Luna met his eyes in the mirror. “That’s the easy part now.” Celeste’s voice echoed from the intercom. “Luna, when you’re ready, say the word. We’re syncing live across twelve networks.” Luna inhaled deeply. “Let’s do this.” The broadcast opened with no music, no theatrics. Just Luna Reyes, raw, unfiltered, sitting against a white backdrop.

The rejection blade. "State your intentions, Beta Tore," Morio said. Tore's hands shook as he reached for the blade. "I... everyone was saying..." "Speak clearly," Morio snapped. "The moon sees everything." "Everyone was saying the curse, Kiera." Tore's words came out fast and scared me. "Three mates died! Three! Silas died in that hunting accident just two weeks after he accepted you. Then David got killed by rogues. And Wesley..." He shook. "Wesley just dropped dead. No reason. Nothing."

“So am I. But I also know that fear doesn’t stop us. Fear makes us faster. Smarter. Deadlier.” She paused, locking eyes with several warriors. “They think I’m the key to the end of the world. They’re wrong. I’m the beginning of something they cannot control. I am Crescent. I am Luna. And I will not let darkness claim another soul tonight!” A cheer erupted, wild and primal. The unity of desperate creatures choosing to live. To fight. Varek rode beside her as they led the charge down the mountain path. “That speech was almost inspiring.” “Almost?” she smirked.

Lucius stated. “A gift!” she exclaimed. “Yes,” Lucius said as he reached into his pocket, pulling out a small velvet box. Layla's eyes widened in surprise. He opened it, revealing a delicate silver necklace with a pendant shaped like a crescent moon. "We wanted to give you something," Darius said, his gaze never leaving hers. "A symbol of our journey, the phases we've been through. The crescent moon—constant, changing, yet always there." Tears welled up in Layla's eyes as she accepted the necklace, the significance not lost on her.

Julian whispered: "I won't lose you again." Then something moved behind him. A reflection. In the polished stone. Selene saw herself standing behind Julian. But she wasn't there. The reflection wore a crown. Her eyes were golden. And beside her stood Caelan. Except he was kneeling. Blood covered his hands. The reflected Selene whispered: "You remember me now." Selene stepped backward. The reflection smiled. "Good." The stone mirror cracked. A single word appeared across it. NINTH. Selene stared.

I know that leaving Callum and the Moonshadow Pack behind will be the hardest thing I've ever done, but I also know that it's the only way I can truly protect myself and my child. As I step into the cool night air, the moon casting a soft glow on the world around me, I take the first step toward my new life – a life away from Crescent Valley, away from the Moonshadow Pack, and away from Callum. It's a journey into the unknown, filled with both hope and fear, but I know that I must face it with courage and determination, for the sake of my child and for the chance at a brighter future.

Crescent didn't seem to mind, turning her attention to Rose, "Hello! Rose, right? The New Catholic's protector. You're kind of famous on TV. Is it really true that Joanna attacked the New Catholics yesterday and that now they're in shambles?" Silence filled the table as Rose contemplated on the appropriate way to respond to Crescent’s comments. "Thank you for meeting us, Cee," Jericho said, clearing his throat again. "I know this is a lot to ask." "Are you kidding me? There's a lot to do at the orphanage, so extra hands are always welcome." Crescent said, sitting down on Jericho's other side. "Wait...the orphanage?" Rose repeated, confused. "Ooh, that's Tristan. I gotta say hi. Hold on a sec

“I greet you all. I am Freya… the chosen Luna.” “We can see you.” The response was cold. Uninterested. Unimpressed. Silence followed. Long. Heavy. Uncomfortable. It felt like they were studying me. Like I was something being inspected. “So,” one of them finally spoke. “This is the girl.” I swallowed. “She doesn’t look like much,” another added. A quiet laugh followed. “She looks fragile.” “Like how a cursed one should look.” The word hit me hard. Cursed. Always cursed.

He sat up with my help, a confused look on his face. "Who are you?" He rasped. "I'm here to tell you what I know about the crescent sword. We don't have much time, so I'm going to be quick" she told him and he frowned. "The crescent sword is the only sword that can get rid of deities like Hera. It earned it's name from both the fact that a beam of the crescent blue moon had taken part in it's creation, and the sword possesses the shape of a crescent. It was last seen in the mountains of the king of the undead"
