Chapter 124: I Do Not Want To Be With You,Regina. Regina stared at her reflection through the mirror. She looked perfect in a red, deep V-neck body-hugging gown. It was modest enough to pass for a formal outfit, but hot enough to cause heads to spin in her direction. She had intentionally picked this dress, and she was certain it was going to do its job today.

Vivian, still clad in her nightwear and hastily thrown-on kimono, swung the door open to find her mother standing before her. Owen was looking out the window of the parlour between their suites when Regina came out of her room. “So, Mr. I don’t want you to flaunt your body, why am I wearing a see-thru dress right now?” Regina teased, but Owen was silent as he let his eyes roam up and down her body, enjoying the fact that Regina accepted all his gifts. Regina’s heart hammered in her chest as she waited for his reaction. “You look so beautiful, Regina.” He was mesmerized by her transformation and he was surprised he could speak.

This might be my chance to get revenge and achieve my goal. However, I couldn't keep my eyes off him. His appearance, as though under duress.
