Reincarnation : A paranormal horror

Reincarnation : A paranormal horror

I apologize that this book is really short with less than 30k words in all. I plan to edit it at some point and make it better. I figured that a really long Horror book might be less interesting and would just seem drawn out. I've not read a lot of them but I watch horror movies so I wrote this like I would picture an Horror movie. I appreciate all those who stuck with me and read Reincarnation regardless. Thank you all. After saying this, I would love and appreciate your feedbacks and things to watch out for when I do edit the book. It would be really helpful and appreciated.

Reincarnation: We Meet Again

Reincarnation: We Meet Again

After the reincarnation, I always felt like I had lost some parts of my memory. However, Kelly's insulting words indirectly brought back my memories. In my past life, after my daughter and I were locked up in the house, I had begged Justin desperately. I reminded him we were his wife and child and asked him how he could bear to treat us in such a way. However, Justin retorted, "My wife and child? It's still yet to be determined if she's my daughter."

The game was simple but the nature of the game was extremely unfriendly and deathly. “The game…” Her lips moved with no sound, was utterly confused. “Yeah. It’s your game but I simplify it.” “With?” “There will be no passport nor healing potion.” “Ha. ha. Ha.” She laughed soullessly. “There are a total of five lives. Each death will be felt in the body regardless of the process. For example, if they died by plunging the knife into the heart, a similar pain will be transmitted into the body. And, they will have to wait for the next rebirth. Each scenario will end once there’s no survivor.”

Horror Survival: I Speed-Ran the Kill Route

Horror Survival: I Speed-Ran the Kill Route

"I knew she wouldn't make it. No one can. No matter what role they pick, their life or death depends on his mood." I could just imagine the commenter cackling as they typed. "This really is the toughest atonement game, yet the system keeps dragging in newbies. That's no different from sending them to their deaths." A key point caught my attention, so I immediately turned to stare at the system. "Have people played this game more than once?" The system answered, "If a player survives, they must re-enter the game every six months. Otherwise, they would die." Some people broke down.

I said. “According to the reincarnation theory, souls have a path to follow in order to return to God. So they come back to life with a to-do list to move forward down that path. If you check all the boxes before dying, you’re fine. If you do more than you were expected to, you get dharma, or good karma, and your next life is gonna be easier. If you don’t, the boxes you didn’t check are added to the list for your next life, making it harder. That’s karma.”

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The dragons' eyes were forged from gold, radiating burning light. Countless soul-devouring banners hung between the marble pillars, each inscribed with the names, birth details, deeds, and sins of every living being. They drifted slowly in the air, emitting mournful whispers. All of it carried the lingering obsessions and unfinished regrets of souls trapped in the cycle of reincarnation. Vexon spoke slowly in a respectful tone. "This is the most important part of the Reincarnation Hall. The marble platform before you is the Reincarnation Record.

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

the storyline is amazing. Love the FL. She is strong, fierce, righteous and so unaware. Landon is amazing, so supportive and heart warming tho feel sad for him he is unappreciated. I wish Fiona the best and hope she gets true love Owen never deserved her. Love grandpa Warren and Barron. It's amazing

“Do you think we’re in Bellum now? Like, in the game itself?” The girl leaned back as she thought about it for a moment. “Now that you mention it, this does feel familiar,” she replied. “It is all very similar, however nothing is identical.” “Wait. What’cha mean, not identical?” “For one thing, respawning was mostly a cutscene, neh? We would watch a video of us stepping out of the regeneration chamber, which looked very different, and then would go into the processing chamber. From there, we would claim our insured loadouts, pay insurance premiums, then re-equip ourselves.

By the title itself, it was already something that would hook anyone immediately. And after reading a few chapters, indeed it was great. I really love reborn books/novels and I am not disappointed one bit at all! Love the Mc by the way.

Reincarnation as a theme in video games is absolutely fascinating, and it pops up in some of the most unexpected places once you start looking for it. One of my favorite examples is 'NieR: Automata,' where androids endlessly fight and die, only to have their memories downloaded into new bodies—basically mechanical reincarnation with existential dread. The game layers this with philosophy about purpose and identity, making it way deeper than your average hack-and-slash. Then there’s 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,' where Link’s resurrection from a 100-year slumber feels like a soft reboot of his soul, especially with all those forgotten memories. Even indie games get in on it—'Hades' has Zagreus constantly dying and returning, but each run feels like progress because of how the narrative unfolds. It’s not just about coming back; it’s about what changes (or doesn’t) when you do.

What’s wild is how differently games handle it. Some, like 'Dark Souls,' make reincarnation a curse—you’re stuck in this loop of decay, and the world reflects that. Others, like 'Undertale,' let you literally reset timelines, but the characters kinda remember, which messes with your head. I love how games use mechanics to reinforce the theme—permadeath in 'Rogue-likes' feels like reincarnation with amnesia, and narrative-driven games like 'What Remains of Edith Finch' explore legacy through fragmented stories. It’s not just a plot device; it’s a way to make players question their own role in the cycle. After playing so many of these, I’ve started seeing reincarnation as less of a fantasy trope and more of a mirror for how we replay games ourselves—always chasing that 'perfect run.'
