Rejected Luna Analise Kade Novels & Stories

My vision blurred and I didn't know if it was from tears or from whatever was happening to my body. "Stand up, Abital." Ruth's voice cut through my pain. "You're embarrassing yourself." I tried but my legs wouldn't cooperate. "She's weak," someone in the crowd said. "She can't even handle a rejection without falling apart." Laughter rippled through some wolves though not all of them. Some looked away, but most of them laughed that made me want to disappear . "I choose Selena Winters as my mate and future Luna," Damon continued. "She is strong where strength is needed."

Gianna Romano stands at the head of the table, presenting the case with a shrewdness I’d admire if it wasn’t directed against me. She's good. Professional. The kind of lawyer who doesn't waste words or emotion on anything that won't serve her client. And right now, her client is my mate. "Luna Skye has been an exemplary member of this pack for three years," Gianna begins, laying out documents with a detached demeanor, like she isn’t trying to single-handedly dismantle my whole life. "She has fulfilled every duty expected of her as Luna. Organized charitable initiatives. Mediated pack disputes. Represented the Ironwood Pack at regional gatherings with grace and dignity.

"I have to do what I have to do. I'm so sorry, Leora. The Moon Goddess might want this for us, but I don't want this for myself. I can't defy my father, or the pack. Not for you. Never." Bastard, my wolf howled. Fucking spineless coward. "I, Caleb Brennan reject you, Leora Alabaster as my mate and Luna. You shall remain here for a long time until my coronation with my chosen Luna is done in future. If you want to survive, it'd do you well to accept the rejection."

What had I done? "But..." "I don't care if we're... mates-" He spat it out like it was a swear word. "I won't be burdened with you, Kiara." He drew himself to his full height, his green eyes glinting angrily. "I, Jason, hereby reject you as my Luna." "NO," I screamed. "You can't! Why-"

I knew they were happy about my rejection this time. “Your Beta will be hurt if he sees your flat face right now, even after he rejected you,” said Linda, my stepmother. Beside her, her Beta daughter also looked at me with a scornful face. “Let it go, Mother. A pretty Luna like her doesn't know how hard it is to get a Mate,” Chandite Magenta said. “Even if you get rejected today, you can just open your legs the next day. And, boom! You'll get a new Mate just as easily. Fucking cheap.”

He picked up black wood box with silver collar inside and threw it off truck onto ice, hard, where it broke open and silver collar skidded across frozen lake, spinning, and fell through hole where fishing hole had been cut earlier, where white women had been pulling glowing blue fish, and sank into dark water with hiss and steam and was gone. Harlan roared, “You stupid boy! That collar cost two cows and rifle! Council will charge us!” Kaden looked at me, at my burned palms healing again, at my white eyes, at my mother free, at Jax standing between us and rifle, and he said, voice broken, “I did not want Lena to bite. I did not want to reject you in barn. My father held me. My father held me

She murmurs. Liana grabs the white envelope, throwing the rest on her desk. I watch her carefully as she scans the envelope then brings out the letter inside. Moment of truth. Liana’s eyes go over the words carefully and with each line, her face goes paler and paler. I have my answer, Liana Dawson, mate of Alpha Derek, Luna of the blood moon pack, and the so-called oracle of the moon goddess was cheating on her husband and mate right under his nose, in the pack.

“The moon goddess paired us together for a reason.” “The moon goddess made a mistake,” Prisca replied coldly. “I’m destined to be Luna of this pack and mate to Alpha Kane and nothing is going to change that no matter what some stupid bond says about you being connected to me.” “You can’t just reject the mate bond,” John protested. “It doesn’t work that way and eventually everyone will find out the truth.” Prisca stood up from her couch and walked over to where John was standing. “Listen to me very carefully,” she said in a low dangerous voice. “If you ever mention this bond to anyone I will make sure you and your entire family disappear from this pack without a trace.”

she said, letting the words hang in the air. "Please, enlighten us, Nana. What do you mean by something is amiss? Will our Luna be able to walk again?" Michelle hurriedly pressed the oracle for answers. Alpha Theo regarded the oracle with intense focus. While he wasn’t directly asking for details, his expression conveyed everything he felt. Indeed, he also want to know the answer to Michael’s question. With a deep breath, the oracle proceeded… “As I said, when I examined the little Luna's leg, I confirmed that, indeed, there is nothing physically wrong with him. He’s in excellent shape and should be walking. Yet, something had happened, resulting into jis current situation —the rejection o
