SEVER ZERO

SEVER ZERO

"Look at the head. It's not an eye. It's a 'Thermal Vent'. The strategy guide says we have to overload it." "Tank! Hit the vent!" Ren ordered. "Focus fire on the head!" Tank unleashed hell on the glowing red vent at the top of the monster's skull. The Kraken shrieked—a sound of tearing metal, not flesh. It began to glow white-hot. "CRITICAL OVERLOAD!" the game announced. "CORE MELTDOWN IMMINENT!" BOOM. The Kraken didn't just die. It exploded from the inside out. A massive underwater detonation that sent a shockwave through the ocean, nearly capsizing their destroyer.

She wasn't sure she wanted to see anyone see her cry, so shoving her emotion in was it for her, at least, for as long as she would have to stay in detention for. Two days had passed and it was Friday, and that meant movie night, so here she was at Hailey's house for it. She had expected Hailey to insist on picking the movie to watch, or the toppings on the pizza she ordered, but what she didn't expect was Zach showing up. Hailey and her had decided to watch the movie downstairs in the basement inside Hailey's dad man-den or whatever she said he called it, and Hailey had just gone up to the ground level when the door bell rang to get the pizza.

However, they did little to repel the beast this time. The planks of the ship creaking under the strain as the kraken’s hold constricted. Chiri finally stepped forward, mumbling with an exasperated exhalation, “This is getting us nowhere.” She gripped her blade firmly. Waltzing past the frenzied chaos towards one of the limbs coiled across the deck. Allen saw a thin stream of blood glide along its edge, before Chiri stabbed into the kraken’s flesh.

“Hey, Zeke.” “Luisa, any news on Kris? How’s his case looking?” He asked, trying to sound casual. Luisa answered, then paused. “Uh, I didn't know you were that concerned for Kris." Zeke sucked in a breath in annoyance. “Just answer, will you?” “Kris already got released this afternoon.” Millie visibly relaxed, and Zeke raised an eyebrow. “Released? Didn't he nearly kill someone? And wasn't the video of it posted online?”

I really hope next chapters have Karen's evil deeds coming out and her going to prison for having Lassa drugged and raped! Also For Kris to see his family for the scum they are plus for him to die of regret for all the hurt, pain he caused Lassa and for having sex, marriage and child with Karen.

Conflicted

I ask with a growl. "I want the title of Alpha....... and my mate here," Kraven says and the red head growls. She fights against his hold but he digs his claws in. "Have your goon release the other omegas and we will fight. I accept your challenge," I declare. "Challenge? There isn't going to be a challenge. You are going to step down. Or Reed over there is going to start slicing throats," Kraven growls with a smirk. I match his cocky attitude with a growl.

I was worried I was not going to like the book and while a lot of the beginning was cringy lol, I pushed through and glad I did! It was a captivating read even with the auctions and shitty people but as the story progressed, I couldn't put the book down! I'd happily read more of the authors stories.
Mona
Soo good! I fell in love with the characters and couldn't put it down! <3 I loved the way the characters had evolved from the first time you meet them to the end. Also, one of the characters, her name is Hilda, reminded me so much of Aveline from Dragon Age 2. *cough*Hilda needs her own book*cough*

The Heir's Secret

The Heir's Secret

“That was the beta test.” Julian didn’t touch the card. “What do you want?” Crane’s smile vanished. “I want my company back.” Julian stepped closer. “Then you’ll have to kill me.” “Oh, sweetheart,” Crane said, tilting his head. “Who said anything about killing?” He leaned in, whispering: “I’m going to break you first.” Then he walked to the door, typed a code, and unlocked it. But before stepping out, he added, “Zurich, Julian. Three days. Come alone… or someone else dies.”

Freya could not ask for more! Kenneth cleared his throat and said, “We are going to watch a movie, but honestly, I wanted to watch Shutter Island. However, Kirk said you may not like it. Geneva suggested the same.” “I definitely would not want to watch Shutter Island again,” Freya confirmed. “So, both Geneva and Kirk prepared a movie for us,” Kenneth revealed, pointing to the LED billboard mounted a few feet away from them. “IN THAT THING?!!!” Freya reacted. “Half the city is going to see!”

After reading every chapter, I keep on thinking-How can the author write the chapters so well filled with a lot of humour, love that melts hearts and everything that is necessary for a very good story. This is the best story ever. Mostly I can never read a story till the end but this is an exception

Frequently Asked Questions

Ah, the kraken—a mythical creature that sends shivers down the spine of sailors and anyone who fancies a good tale of the deep! A couple of films spring to mind that really dive into this legend, but I’ve got to highlight 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest' first. In this film, we see the kraken come to life, fully embracing its ferocious reputation. The ominous presence of the creature adds an eerie tension that perfectly matches the adventurous spirit of the movie. I remember watching it for the first time, fully entranced by the chilling sound of the tentacles slapping against the ship, and you could almost feel the anxiety of the crew as they battled this beastly foe!

It's not just a simple monster attack, though. This portrayal connects deeply with the themes of fate and the supernatural that run throughout the series. The crew's struggle against the kraken symbolizes their constant battle with destiny. Plus, the visual effects at the time were groundbreaking and really showed how terrifying the ocean could be when you’ve got such a monstrous entity lurking beneath. For me, that movie embodies the kraken myth as a blend of supernatural terror and cinematic adventure.

Now, I can't overlook 'Clash of the Titans,' either, which features the kraken but in a rather mythological context. Here, the monstrous creature is unleashed upon the city of Argos as punishment, which ties more into classic mythology. The entire film revels in vibrant effects and grand storytelling, allowing viewers to marvel at the kraken's monumental scale. While 'Pirates of the Caribbean' might have more of a swashbuckling vibe, 'Clash of the Titans' leans into epic battles against gods and monsters, making it a fantastic flick for those who appreciate mythology. Watching the kraken stomping through Argos and facing Perseus always gives me chills—it's a legendary confrontation that feels both ambitious and visually stunning.

So, whether you’re looking for a thrilling adventure with a mythical twist or an epic spectacle of gods and monsters, both 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest' and 'Clash of the Titans' serve up kraken action in their own unforgettable ways!
