Remnants Bible Verse Novels & Stories

When only Shrey and George remained, Shrey exclaimed, "Why, just why, does this happen to me, George? I'm going insane; I fucking don't understand my own behavior anymore, and I feel like ending this life. I-I want our life back, George, the way we used to live before, and I want my daughter to love and embrace me the way she did before that terrible accident. I want to remember everything, George; our memories are the most precious part of my life, but all I have now is a small glimpse of our moments with our children, and this isn't enough. Please do something, George. I know in my heart that I love you.

“What the hell are you talking about?” “You don’t know yet. But you will.” Her voice was calm, too calm. “The bond isn’t just fate, it’s the key. You and the Alpha of Nightfall were never meant to meet, let alone connect. And yet… here you are. Breaking the very threads that hold this world together.” She stepped closer. I didn’t move. “Who are you?” I demanded again. She tilted her head. “We are the Remnants.” The name stirred something cold and forgotten in my bones. A whisper of fear passed through me, ancient and primal.

Mom said as she drew Ola into a gentle hug. I walked over to the corner of the room where a little shelf was placed, I pulled out the big, black familiar book. It was my dad's most cherished belonging, his Bible. I opened to his favourite verse, walked over to my mom and handed it to her. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8: "So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord."

And somewhere in the dark, a hidden intercessor whispered one phrase into the night: “They’ve come. The ones who remember the real altar.” End of Chapter 12🤭 •Chapter 13 – The Remnant and the Revolt The invitation came in a dream. A voice, low and firm: “Come to the broken bell.” When James awoke, the air was humming again — like it always did before something sacred revealed itself. Eliora was already up, flipping through the blueprint. She paused at a symbol neither of them had noticed before: a bell cracked down the middle, surrounded by a circle of flame.

His eyes shone crimson in the dim light. “I was wondering when the tribe would remember its own history.” I was now on my guard, “Who are you?” He smirked, “You may call me what your ancestors did.” Then, he finally stepped fully into the glow. “The Remnant.” Jessica and I were ready for a battle, but he only said, “Beware! If Sheila regains her memories, she will have to be sacrificed to restart the seal!”

Jennifer replied "Okay, then you should try that and reading the bible for once. Because that also helps getting rid of anger, too" "You know that it's been awhile since I've read the bible. I wouldn't know what scriptures to read on" "Well, there's Ephesians chapter four verse thirty one and two. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you"

It was such a wonderful story that comforted him. He opened the Bible and placed it upon his thighs. A verse on the second page - Jeremiah 11:19 - was highlighted in bold. He read it out aloud not daring the silence around him. But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be

He took out his bible and read a passage there. "Psalm 82:1-5: 1 God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: 2 'How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? 3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. 4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.' 5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken."

As the hours passed by, he was appreciating the absorption of words of wisdom into his way of thinking. He found himself reading and re-reading certain phrases. "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more. Hebrews 8:12." Rye memorized the words until it felt imprinted on his heart and mind. "Then he adds: Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more. Hebrews 10:17."

Timotheus snatched the Bible from Ferran’s hand and opened it as if he was so familiar with the book. “John 3:16… John 3:16…” Timotheus opened the Bible and saw the highlighted verse. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” He read. “What about the numbers 17, 18, 19, 20, 21?” Czaquira asked. “Maybe the words?” Timotheus was confused for a while.
