Quiescence

Quiescence

2015, December 24th, England I stared at the lifeless woman, lying on the cold marble floor, her eyes wide open, and her pupils turned all white from once vibrant blue specs. I covered her naked body which had become pale white, with a white cloth. "Now, you are purified, my love..." I whispered coldly and smiled without humor at the cold body that was once warm with a burning desire for me during our copulation. All humans were born to be filthy and sinful and this lifeless woman was not different. An adulterer. A lustful, dirty woman. The moment she saw my deceitful beauty, she did not hesitate and jumped on my bait even when her husband dearly loved her. She had gotten what she deserved.

Forever Bound

Forever Bound

The heaviness in her chest seemed to weigh her down, and as the minutes ticked by, tears began to well up in her eyes. Desperately, she tried to reach out to Valle through their mindlink. "Valle, please listen. I can explain everything. Just let me explain, please. Talk to me." Her voice trembled as she sent the plea, hoping for a response, but the silence that followed was deafening. The connection remained cold, empty, and devoid of Valle’s familiar presence. Alexa’s heart sank, her chest tightening in pain as she called out again. "Valle? Valle, please. It’s not what you think."

Forevermore

Del Fuego told Echo to let Maria be in that state for the time being. Echo and his parents respected Maria's silence even when her parents were already under the grave. Maria was of no emotion already. Maria's POV: "I won't cry anymore Mom, Dad. I know it's Lord's decision. I know he has a purpose. It was so hard for me but I will move on. Help me, Mom, help me, Dad. I am so sorry for not listening to you. I am so sorry that I haven't asked for forgiveness when we were both alive. I love you, Mom, I love you, Dad," Maria said to her parents then pray. A few more tears came out of her eyes and she wiped them immediately.

Forever Mine

Forever Mine

He paused and held my gaze. "After Doc is done with the bodies, we will burn them. There are still so many questions unanswered by the rogues. We don't understand why this person is doing this. I won't rest until we have identified him." Involuntary tears gathered in my eyes, my heart broke for those who awaited news of their missing loved ones. "I understand, where you are going," I said in a subdued tone. He wrapped his arms around me as I cried silently for the dead and the broken ones residing in the infirmary who suffered horribly.

Ceejay Ramirez
This is awesome! From Book 1 to this book, the author really improved with the pacing and storyline… Well, except for the grammatical errors, still deserved the perfect score for the story itself… I hope you also write another book for Aiden’s story… Kudos to you dear author and congratulations!

Another wonderful story by this author! So happy with how everything came together and ended. Very well written, flowed well. Will there be a 3rd story or is this it? Either way, loved it - good job author! 😊

His Remated Regret

His Remated Regret

I looked at the dirt-flecked bunch of grass and let out a disbelieving laugh. "Are you serious?" "Of course," Caleb avowed, his gaze earnest. "I know you've been yearning to hear this. Elena, be my mate. I will cherish you…" Before he could finish, heavy footsteps suddenly thundered from the far end of the corridor. The air instantly thickened with powerful Alpha pheromones, so potent it was almost suffocating. He held a bouquet of cliff roses—blooms said to grow only on sheer, ice-bound cliffs in the harshest regions, each one worth a king's ransom.

Echoes of Ruin

Echoes of Ruin

Her eyes skimmed it once. Once more. Slow. Her lips part, just a hair. “Bastard.” Not loud. Not choked. But it quivered. With fury. The kind of fury that grows in blood. Caelum stepped closer. “What does it say?” Nora passed it to him without a word. Lucien reread it out loud: “You wear the bones of the extinct like armor. But some of us remember what burned first.” Elias snorted harshly through his nose. “He’s fucking baiting her.”

Death Bliss

Death Bliss

We stand like that for a count of ten, the same ten heartbeats I counted in the Storm Corridor, and then he releases my hand and steps back. “Goodnight, Serafina.” “Goodnight, Domenico.” I open the door to my quarters and step inside. The room is dark, the window streaked with rain, and I do not light the candle again. I stand in the darkness with my palm pressed flat against the door, feeling the wood cool and solid under my hand, and I listen to his footsteps receding down the corridor. He is walking toward the chapel. I know it without seeing him. He is going back to the ledger, back to the page with the authorization code and the surname that matches his own, back to the proof that his b

His Dark Desire: The Devil’s Bride

His Dark Desire: The Devil’s Bride

The priest’s voice rose and fell as he recited the prayers. "Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei." "Grant her eternal rest, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her." The priest beside him interpreted. Rafael stood on my left. Lucia on my right. Their presence was the only thing keeping me upright. My father stood across the grave, alone. His face was carved from stone, but his hands — his hands trembled at his sides. The priest lifted a small brass thurible, swinging it gently. The smoke of frankincense curled upward, disappearing into the pale morning sky.

THE LOST WEREWOLF PRINCESS: MATED TO THE RIVALS

CHAPTER 112: CROWN OF THREE POV: RHEA SONG OF THE CHAPTER: MY DEMONS BY STARSET (ACOUSTIC) ~~ (MOMENTS BEFORE THE DREMARI DIES:) The wind is too quiet. It’s the kind of stillness that only comes after something sacred has shattered. The kind that hangs heavy in your lungs, tastes like copper and grief. The Dremari lies on the stone altar, more shadow than substance now. His form is flickering each breath a struggle, each movement like smoke curling in reverse. The crater around us glows faintly, the remains of his protection spell still etched in the cracked ground.
