I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of knowing I'd noticed. I took another sip. Then I froze. The glass stopped halfway to my lips. Across the room stood a man I hadn't seen in years. My fingers tightened around the glass. No. It couldn't be. But I knew that face. I knew those eyes. I knew the scar above his eyebrow. My breathing became shallow. The music around me seemed to fade, replaced by the sound of a locked door slamming shut. Hands. Cold walls. Dark rooms. Laughter. The smell of sweat and blood. Voices telling me I had no choice.

So their minor mistake can trap them in a big bait from which they may never get out. “So what do we do now?” Rose asked at the same time her eyes fell on the black orchids a little away from them, which has the power to suppress the arduous poison. And when she saw it, her eyes sparkled like stars. Without informing Arthur, she moved ahead. But as soon as she went, she stumbled upon something and felt a hard object in front of her feet. Curiously, she removed the soil from that hard thing but saw a skeleton of a woman, which scared her badly. She screamed at the top of her lungs. “Arthur.”

She was barely naked and still breathing softly, indicating that she was still alive. Her blood was still warm, and I could taste it on the tip of my fangs as I approached her. I bared my fangs, pulling my long black hair away from my face so I could take a bite, but then I started feeling something odd. Out of all the Omega I encountered, this particular one has a different taste of blood.

Caius' face snapped to him revealing his red bright eyes but Reid didn't look at him, his yellowish bright eyes were stuck on her bloody foot with nothing but repulsion written all over his face. This made him snap out of his bubble, he just realized what in hunger he was about to do. He was actually going to drink Omega's blood? A fucking werewolf! The kind's blood he always despised the most, werewolves blood never smelled good to vampires and never had he ever been attracted to any blood before not even his own kind then how the fuck? He pulled his hand away from her foot with much difficulty, his hands and mouth itched to drink that dripping blood, but instead he controlled himself and s

Dad said. Aravelle was our priestess — An old lady who lived on the Spire and rarely came out. I’d only ever seen her three times in my life, and each time, I was caught off guard by how ancient and creepy she looked. “Definitely,” the Alpha nodded. “But first, let’s have a private meeting. Ladies, can you excuse us?” So Mom, Vira, and I walked back to our cabin moments later. I woke up gloomy the next day. The events of yesterday kept replaying in my head: t

It didn't make any sense that I woke up in someone else's body in the middle of nowhere. Judging by that tattoo, whoever owned the body could have been some criminal on the run. The last thing I wanted was to suffer for someone else's crime just because I accidentally woke up in her body. With that thought in mind, I looked back and found a fire extinguisher at the backseat. I picked it up, and smashed the window glass, then I crawled out of the car through it. Standing outside, I painted softly, my breath visible as I swept my eyes all over the place. The bonnet of the car was on the ground.

In the blink of an eye, that zombie killed four of the Rank 3 Evolved Ones, leaving only the little girl alive. Seeing this scene, Lucas' face put on an excited expression. That was because that zombie with the Merciless Flame-Aqua Gun was none other than the Godly Sniper Zombie of the Apocalyptic Legion, Rexy. The little girl ran back to Lucas and hid behind him. She looked at the incoming zombie in horror.

The air in the sub-vault lobby was thick with the smell of ozone and the heavy, metallic scent of suppressed aggression. Elena stood her ground, her boots planted firmly on the cold concrete. In her left hand, she clutched the Legacy Drive, the pulsating green cube that held the only surviving shards of her mother’s soul. In her right, she held a short-blade, the edge humming with a molecular vibration that could cut through reinforced steel.

It can't be. *** The previous day, below the city's ground... The black haired girl skipped through the falling ceiling and dead bodies. She stopped just outside of storage. Her hair swung, revealing a golden eagle with red eyes on her leather jacket. "Where are the rest?" asked someone behind her. She turned around, revealing her green eyes and tanned skin. Her short frame doesn't make her afraid despite the blonde muscular guy standing in front of her. "They're coming," she answered. "Good. Do you have any information on Victor Clyde?"

“Sorry…Sir. The test subject also refuses to let us take its blood. We know that when it gives its blood to someone or something the blood changes the composition of the body. It adapts to the new blood; becoming something more than it was orignally.” “You’ve killed all the other test subjects, right?” The man asks while still staring down and the helpless boy sitting in the back of the cage. “Yes sir, as you’ve requested.” The man then smiles evilly. “Sir we’ve also found out that if something is close to death but is given some of the subject’s blood then it comes back to life and adapts like the others.” “Hmm…interesting, Doctor. Good work. Good work indeed.” The man tells the doctor
