she began carefully, “it will not be because the council desires peace.” Daxen did not move. “I suspected as much.” She stepped closer. “There is a ritual underway.” The words felt heavy in the air. “Not war,” she continued. “Not retaliation.” Daxen’s gaze sharpened. “Resurrection.” The word landed like a blade. “Gador,” she said. The name alone carried weight older than kingdoms. Daxen did not react outwardly. Inside, his mind burned. “Impossible,” he said quietly.

He immediately felt a lot better now. “Lilybud, how long was I unconscious?” Darryl asked after swallowing the water. Lily huffed and smiled gently. “You’ve been unconscious for two days now. I was so afraid during the past two days that something might’ve happened to you. Thankfully the Nine Resurrection Pill managed to save you.” Nine Resurrection Pill? Darryl’s expression became solemn in an instant upon hearing Lily mentioning the pill. It was recorded in the Infinite Elixir Manual that the Nine Resurrection Pill was very mystical. It was specifically used to treat lower energy field injuries!

the fortune teller spoke up, “But it is impossible. Demons are not real in this world.” Belle’s hand clenched her dress as she stopped looking at the man, “What if they’re real?” “Then it would be possible. Under some exception, it’s been said that demons could bring back a dead human back to life. The process called resurrection.” Belle pushed herself from the chair, “Thank you for telling me that, I will…” “Wait,” he stopped her, “You haven’t let me see your future. You promised me, didn’t you?”

But what could I say about obsession. “Resurrection is against the nature’s law, you’ll have to deal with curse after that. And you think you’re strong enough to withhold the suffering it would brought? Think rationally, give me the pendant.” I felt another sharp pain in my abdomen, this time a little more stronger and toe curling.

Each one of them had tears in their eyes and were just staring. I step out of Zachariah’s arms and walk over to Summer, who now has tears sliding down her cheeks and her mouth hanging open. I wrap my arms around her as she stammers, “W…What? H…How? W… We were just coming up to help with the resurrection ritual to bring you back…” Zachariah then steps up beside us and says, “We didn’t need it. The Moon Goddess helped…” I looked at him, just as surprised as Summer and the others were. Farris and Zaire then bow before stepping forward and wrapping their arms around me and whispering,

Slowly I sat up feeling like a complete different person it was then that I noticed I'd been laying on top of a stone coffin. He put on top of someone grave? Strength moved through me, settling into my muscles and my bones. Lifting my hands, I notice no changes in them save for the fact that my skin has taken on a dewy sort of glow that's and my arms were exposed. Glancing down I was surprised to find that I was not wearing the white dress I was executed in.

"He must die. I want to see if his so-called immortality can truly keep him resurrected indefinitely." Bernard looked at Chad and said, "Immortality has its limits. If one were to die too many times, one would enter a vegetative state. "There's another way to kill such a person—dismemberment! The foundation for resurrection is lost once the physical body is destroyed." After saying that, Bernard pointed to Yael on the ground. Chad then realized Yael was breathing. All of Yael's wounds had healed, and his chest was rising and falling in rhythm.

He looks at the thing in his hands and then nods. “To have access into the main building, you'll be needing your card or that of a staff. They don't resume until 7 a.m in the morning. You can wait in the reception.” He ushers me to the lounge in the office foyer where I take my seat on a furry white sofa. “Are you saying even Mr Johnson's assistant resumes by 7 a.m?” “ You mean Miss Veronica? “Yes.” “Yes, even Miss Veronica. Only on occasions when there are businesses that wasn't finished the night before or when there are very important meetings to be held.”

His chest started to rise and fall as he breathed in the air I was giving him, and I could see the color returning to his face. Despite my embarrassment, I continued to breathe life into Rowland, locking our mouths together in a determined effort to save his life. I could feel the magic flowing through me and into him, filling him with energy and vitality. As I continued my resuscitation efforts, I could feel my own body begin to.

With a defeated sigh, I sat on the edge of the bed facing him, “If you knew that the ritual was so dangerous, why did you lie to me? I…We could have at least taken some precautions….” “I didn’t lie to you, Sandy. The ritual was supposed to go flawlessly. I even gave her the resurrection stone. I have no freaking idea why it didn’t work!?” “What exactly does this stone do?” “As the name suggests, it can bring back even a dead person to life.” My eyes widened in shock, “What did you say?” “The resurrection stone around her neck would have revived her even if she died during the ritual.” His gaze bore into mine, “Do you still think
